Arista Corporation ¿ Announces a High Performance Series Addition to Their Flagship Panel PC Line [07-DEC-10]
The ARP-1700Q high performance series joins Arista’s flagship ARP-1700 series. The 1700 series has been and continues to be Arista’s production leader offering a quality, low power panel PC requirement solution serving many client applications in the industries of automation, manufacturing, medical, semiconductor, food processing, machine control and more.

With the addition of the 1700Q series, the 1700 line will now accommodate applications that require high performance processors such as Intel’s Core 2 Duo and Core 2 Quad, As with many of Arista Corporation’s industrial computer product series, the ARP-1700Q series is comprised of a matrix of models with monitor sizes of 15, 17, 19 and 20 inches and expansion PCI slot capacities of 1, 2, and 3 board slots (See link below for complete ARP-1700 series). With the system configuration choices available, the ARP-1700Q series will accommodate virtually all high performance industrial panel PC applications.

In addition to its configuration versatility, the ARP-1700Q also has a detachable computer chassis design which would allow for limited panel mounting space.

Along with the choice of Intel Core 2 processors, PCI slot capacities and monitor sizes, the 1700Q series offers Up to 2x 2.5" SATA HDD, Up to 4GB DDR2-667 Memory, Dual Gigabit LAN, Active Matrix TFT LCD, 2xPS/2 Connectors, 6 x USB 2.0, 1 x RS-232/422/485, 1xParallel Port and an optional 5 Wire Resistive Touch screen that increases operator accuracy and efficiency. Arista's touch screens are constructed with the harshest environments in mind. O/S support for Win XP Pro.

The ARP-1700Q panel PC series combines industry leading connectivity with cutting-edge functionality. Designed for high reliability, the system was designed as a rugged industrial solution with an all metal proprietary chassis. Front bezel options offer NEMA 4 Black Powder Coated finish or NEMA 4X Stainless Steel using an industry standard cutout, The system requires 110V or 220V and operates in temperatures ranging from 0°C to 50°C (32°F to 122°F). Relative Humidity 5% to 95% (non-condensing).

These high quality 24 inch monitors are now in production and Arista has stock that is ready to ship.

The ADM-1824AP (Joining the 1800 Series Display line) and the ADM-5824BP (Joining the 5800 Series Display line) are Arista's newly designed 24 inch wall / ceiling-mount widescreen monitors, providing 1920 x 1080 native resolution and a wide viewing angle. Both monitors are uniquely well suited for industrial, government, and commercial interactive digital signage installations and any applications demanding large, rugged, wide-screen display monitors for enclosed or light restricted areas.

Arista's ADM-1824AP and ADM-5824BP LCD displays boast a bright 300 Nits screen, 1000:1 contrast ratio, and 16:9 aspect ratio. Both monitors offer stunning displays of video, graphics, and text in both highly lit and dimly lit rooms. Video inputs include VGA and DVI.

With best in class design, both the ADM-1824AP and the ADM-5824BP are manufactured for rugged industrial environments and will operate from 0°C to 50°C. (32°~ 122°F) The 1824AP was designed for panel mount applications and has bezel attributes available to meet NEMA 4/4X requirements. The 5824BP was designed for standard VESA mount and can be desktop, wall or ceiling mounted and meets IP50 requirements. Both units come with 5 Wire Resistive Touch. With the versatility these inviting wide screen monitors offer, your application / requirement is sure to be covered. For added versatility, these monitors can also be mounted in portrait mode (Portrait mode would require special mounting).
