We offer PVC stabilizers, which are added to PVC compounds to prevent degradation of PVC while processing. Main metals whose salts are used as stabilizers are lead, barium, cadmium, zinc, calcium and tin. Some of our stabilizers are:
- Stabilizer a-1:
Stabilizer a-1 is a high efficiency barium-cadmium based complex liquid stabilizer.
Specification:
Appearance : brown liquid
Specific
Gravity at 300c : 1.05 ± 0.05 Viscosity at 300c : 60 sec. Min.
Dynamic stability : 60 mnt. Min. At 1800 c
- Stabilizer a-2:
Stabilizer a-2 is a barium-zinc based liquid stabilizer. It gives good heat stability & excellent clarity.
Specifications:
Appearance : clear light brown liquid
Specific Gravity at 300c : 0.87 ± 0.03
Viscosity at 300c : 15 seconds max. Ford cup b-4
Dynamic stability : 40 mnts min.
- Stabilizer a-5:
Stabilizer a-5 is an excellent general purpose barium – cadmium – zinc complex. It is good initial colour, gloss and fairly good clarity.
Specifications:
Appearance : clearlight brown liquid
Specific Gravity : 0.97 ± 0.03
Viscosity : 50 seconds max.(Ford cup b-4)
Dynamic stability : 40 mints min. At 180 ± 20c v
- Stabilizer a-11:
Stabilizer a-11 is a barium – cadmium complex most suitable for processing PVC at critically high temperature requiring excellent clarity.
