The series AB - Air boosters are Compact, Portable, efficient, and low cost solution for boosting shop air pressure by 2 to 3 times ( maximum 30 bar ).A special model is also available to boost the air pressure 7 times ( Maximum 49 bar).

 

Features:

 

  • Compact, lightweight and portable.

  • Efficient use of plant compressed air. Once pressure has built up there is no further consumption of compressed air. The booster reciprocates in proportion to demand.

  • Automatically compensates for leakages and maintains the set output pressure.

  • Can be used in explosive environments as all components are pneumatically actuated.

Auto Lube is the most advanced system for the precision lubrication of pneumatic equipment, fixtures, bearings, slides and ways.

It ensures proper lubrication of pneumatic components in complex circuits and delivers lubricant to points at long distances from the pump.

It overcomes the control problem encountered with conventional mist lubricators.

This pump puts precise amounts of oil right at the points where lubrication is needed.

The New " Mercury" Auto Lube Pump is intended to be used for positive and programmed lubrication of compressed air equipment, machine slides, bearings etc.

 

The salient features are:

 

  • Efficient Lubrication : Oil outlet can be connected at the actual point where lubrication is required.

  • Guaranteed Lubrication : Not dependent on flow rate of compressed air.

  • Positive Lubrication : Oil is injected at high pressure, ensuring lubrication of restricted areas.

  • Programmed Lubrication : Adjustable Frequency ( hence quantity) of lubrication to suit different machine speeds.

Mist Lubricator Vs. Auto-Lube Pump :

 

When a conventional mist lubricator is installed upstream of a control valve, nearly all oil dispensed by the lubricator is exhausted to atmosphere through the exhaust port of the control valve. This is highly inefficient and also contributes significantly to pollution of plant air. In Auto Lube amount of oil is greatly reduced and lubrication is more effective because of the accuracy with which the oil is delivered. Briefly, AUTO LUBE lubricates the component, not the area.


The longer and more tortuous the air pathway from control valve to cylinder, the less effective the mist lubricator becomes. Oil tends to coalesce on the air line walls and puddle in low points. Much of the oil can also be blown into the atmosphere from the valve’s exhaust port so that it serves no purpose in lubricating the cylinder, but does create a health hazard.

This is useful for machines having several slides, bearings etc besides lubricating the pneumatic components.
There are 2 cables from the coil/counter, Black for 230 VAC input and grey for connecting to the N.O. point of a limit switch which can be mounted and actuated by any moving part of the machine.
The number of pulses after which oil should be pumped has to be set by shifting DIP switch. Settings available are 16, 32, 64, 128, 256 , 512, 1024 and 2048. (1 Pumping = 2 drops)

 

Solenoid Operated Model : ALS1

 

For use on machines operated by PLC’s or other controllers. The signal to the solenoid will come after set number of cycles from the PLC. Very useful for “PET” blow moulding machines, injection moulding machines etc.

E series " CM " Double Acting Pneumatic Cylinders are manufactured as per IS 6431 Standards. These are used for operation of the stretch pin.

Salient features of the cylinders are :

Light weight, aluminium alloy barrel, end covers and piston. The barrel is precision honed for low friction and long life of seals.

Bronze filled Teflon wear strip on the piston and Gun Metal bearing bushes in the end covers, to accommodate eccentric loads on the shaft.

Special profile " U " Cup seals for low friction and bubble tight sealing.

Built in Permanent magnet in piston as standard. Reed switches can be mounted on the barrel for sensing the motion of the cylinder.

Long length cushioning with a fine thread adjustment screw for guaranteed deceleration at high speeds.

Special Valves For Pet Industry :

Cushion Solenoid Valve :

These valves are fitted on our series " X " Hydro Pneumatic Clamping Cylinders in the oil line between the Oil Reservoir and the Main Cylinder. The purpose of these valves is to avoid banging and vibration during mould opening and closing, when the machine is operated at high speed.

The valve consists of a 2 way ( 2/ 2 ) Normally Open Solenoid Valve with a bypass Flow Control Valve. Just before the mould fully closes or fully opens, the solenoid is switched " ON ". This shuts the rapid flow of oil from Reservoir to the Cylinder. The oil is now made to flow through a built in by-pass Flow Control Valve to adjust the rate of deceleration, thus providing a smooth, cushioned mould closing and opening, which eliminates vibration and extends the life of the mould.

High Pressure Blow Solenoid Valves :

The blowing pressure for PET is generally in the range of 15 to 25 kgf/ sq.cm. There are two types of 1/2" 3/2 Poppet type Solenoid Valves with external pilot available.

Single Solenoid  Blow Valve : 

This Valve feeds blow pressure when the coil is switched " ON " and exhausts air when the coil is switched " OFF ".

Dual Pressure Double Solenoid Valve :

This Valve first feeds low pressure ( Max. 7 Kgf / Sq. cm ) and when the pre-form is fully stretched, the high pressure solenoid is switched " ON " to provide final blow ( Max. 30 kgf/ sq.cm ) for uniform forming. When both solenoids are switched " OFF " the blow air exhausts through the valve.

High Pressure Regulator :

This is a piston type regulator that has been developed to overcome the failure of diaphragm type regulators under high pressure.

The salient features are :

Compact and light weight.

Well proportioned piston to spring ratio for fine control of output pressure.

Few moving parts for easy servicing.

Solenoid Valve-Regulator Assembly :

For efficient operation of our series " X " and Series " Z " Hydro-Pneumatic Systems, Mercury Has developed a compact Valve-Regulator Assembly.

The Approach Solenoid Valve, Power Stroke Solenoid Valve and the Tonnage Regulator are Sub-base mounted on a special manifold block. In case of valve failure, they can be replaced quickly without opening any pipe fittings. this reduces downtime considerably and eliminates the chances of wrong fitment of pipes and connectors during maintenance. There is also saving in piping and air consumption.

The MERCURY Direct Acting Valve is a compact, precision engineered product, designed to function for millions of operations without lubrication.
