Started in 1960 by Mr. Gilbert Versteeg in Holland, Aarding set about its journey in India with an opening of a liaison office in Bangalore. Soon, we realized the potential of the Indian market & launched a wholly owned subsidiary as Aarding (India) Pvt. Ltd., in 1994. This became our first step in catering to our Indian clients in a more effective manner.
Over the years, we have consolidated our position in the Indian market & have added a sister concern Amogas that produces LPG conversion kit accessories.
We have introduced modern technology from Holland and Italy in the field of automotive gas and fuel conversion kits. This includes accessories like cylindrical & toroidal tanks and multi & electrovalves for both LPG and Benzene.
We combine innovation with our promise of quality to provide on-edge products to our customers. We have furthered our integration with India by using it as an export base, offering products to Holland & Middle East Countries.
Advantages of Stargas Kits over Others
Stargas kits are only available through Aarding & are supplied through a trained dealership network called "Stargas Points" whereas many other kits are freely available in the open market.
Stargas kits supplied in the market are the original form of its make. Copying is difficult due to its advanced technology & unique designs. Whereas, for others, duplicate kits are readily available at very low prices which looks like original.
LPG tuning remains steady in Stargas kits due to improved design, high quality diaphragms and brass components. Whereas, LPG tuning in many other kits gets disturbed frequently due to its simple design & the plastic materials used to fabricate them.
Stargas kits are govt. approved. They are RTO endorsable & ensure legal recognition & insurance coverage. Whereas, many kits are supplied by unapproved companies & they may not be registered with RTO certification & hence will not get insurance coverage.

Our in-house testing lab helps to ascertain the quality of our final products and guarantees that all our products will be of superior and uniform quality. Inspite of the fact that we import our products from quality manufacturers, we perform quality checks conforming to international standards on all imported fuel conversion kits.
Stargas kits have full aluminum cast body with larger hot water circulation. This enhances longer life and better pre-heating of gas which gives improved engine efficiency & mileage. Whereas, in many other kits, hot water separation with gas is done with a single diaphragm that ruptures after some time.
In Stargas kits, all pressure reducers are 100% imported from Italy and are approved as per the UN ECE R67.01 norms. No duplicate pressure reducer is available in the market. This is a guarantee for safe performance. Whereas, no guarantee is given for the pressure reducers of many other manufacturers (lots of duplicate items are used).
All Stargas kits are given with a written guarantee card from Aarding (India) and Stargas s.r.l., Italy. Whereas, many others are supplied with "verbal" warranty from the local suppliers.
Our Distribution Network
Our clientèle includes major automobile company's dealers and other business groups. Aarding (India) Pvt. Ltd., does its entire retailing and installation through its authorized dealer network called Stargas spread across India. We are supplying the accessories to several authorized LPG conversion kit retro-fitters in India. Our products come to the market with hologram to ensure the originality & quality of the accessories.
