According to performance requirement & properties mentioned in drawings, the input material i.e. Polymer is treated, processing is done at specified conditions, the proper control of these conditions is important for part quality. The manufactured components are tested in the lab. for their dimensional tolerances, temperature tolerances & other properties to achieve quality & performance.
