• Each frame is mounted on a separate horizontal shaft.
• Each roll is driven independently by a flat belt pulley or v belt Sheave
• One of the rolls is mounted on a slide frame to permit an adjustment in the gap opening between the two rolls.
• The movable roll is spring loaded to provide safety against damage to the rolls, when non-crushable material passes through the machine.
• Two Heavy Flywheels are mounted on the counter shaft which drives the roll shafts independently through a set of pinion gears.
