We produce gherkin which is used in fast food restaurants world-wide. These gherkin are immediately processed when immediate processing is not possible, they are stored at a controlled temperature in a cold room. The fruits are then inspected before being fed to the production process. The production process consists of culling of the fruit. To remove unacceptable fruits, machine washing, machine grading & post grading culling is done. The accepted fruit is then filled to the specified weight in washed bottles. Stackers & Spears are cut in a machine before bottle filling. Preservatives are then prepared as per customer specifications & are charged into the filled bottles. The filled bottles are then vacuum sealed in lug capping machine. These bottles then undergo the process of pasteurization & are labeled accordingly.

Gherkin plant has the capability of packing processed Gherkins in glass jars of various sizes, namely 370 ml, 720 ml, 1000 ml & 1515 ml. Tin cans of 3.1 Kg and 5 Kgs are available and bulk packing in HDPE barrels. The initial capacity of the plant is 10000 MTs of Gherkin per annum, translating to approximately 1000 containers. these bottles and cans are completely airt tight and prevent the gherkin from moisture, heat as well as dust.

• gherkin spears

these products are packed in bulk packing in hdpe drums (150 to 180 kgs of net drained weight per drum). Gherkins are usually packed in 3 media like brine, vinegar and acetic acid. These products are packed with utmost care so that their freshness reamin intact and they can be used as per the desire of the client.
