Industrial Bone Screw

Industrial Bone Screw  hot

Bone Screws are mechanical devices used for fixing one object to another. The key salient features of the screws are:

  • Characterized by a spiral ridge cut on the external surface of a cylindrical rod of decreasing diameter towards its point
  • This is a male screw. In a female screw the screw is cut on the inside of a cylindrical cavity
  • A colloquial term for a worn out or inferior horse

Cortical 3.5 mm screw

Cortical screws are closely-spaced, shallow threads and larger core-to-outer diameter ratios than cancellous screws. In addition, they are much stronger than cancellous screws of the same outer diameter. The cortical screws are usually blunt ended and to minimize damage to the soft tissue, this end should extend only a few millimeters into the soft tissues beyond the far cortex. For fixing plates to long bones, these fully -threaded screws are used to fixate both cortices so that maximal stability is achieved.

Cancellous Screw 4.0 mm

Cancellous screws are designed and created for the purpose of proper fixation of cancellous bone. These are mostly used in the metaphyses of long bones where cancellous bone is abundant. The screws have more widely spaced and have more deeply cut threads compared to cortical screw. As the cancellous bone is lesser in density than cortical bone, the screw threads cut their path in the bone when the screw is inserted due to the fact that the cancellous screws are self-tapping. The partially threaded cancellous screws are frequently used as lag screws for metaphyseal fractures.

Interlocking Bolt 3.9 mm and 4.9 mm

Interlocking Bolt 3.9 mm and 4.9 mm

Interlocking Bolt 3.9 mm and 4.9 mm is used in various surgeries. Fabricated using superior quality stainless steel and titanium, the range is widely appreciated for durability, high performance, high tensile strength, corrosion resistance and dimensional accuracy. Its large diameter improves the strength and bending of the screw and distributes the load in the bone over a large area.

Cancellous screw 4mm

Cancellous screw 4mm are mechanical devices used for fixing one object to another. The key salient features of the screws are:
