Quality Policy / Processes* Our products include Ophthalmic Blades, Knives, Surgical Instruments and customized cutting devices.
* At Acute Surgical, we pay a great deal of attention to quality. We use the best raw/process materials to guarantee quality products.
* All of our equipment is the latest and it delivers consistent products. Our equipment maintenance system eliminates any room for error. We perform regular caliber checks and all information is recorded.
* The medical grade stainless steel we use is imported from the U.S. and Europe which ensures consistency in its chemical composition. We use independent labs to analyze the raw material upon receiving if needed.
* Hardening foil is imported from the U.S. and of consistent quality.
* Buffing wheels and buffing compounds which are imported from U.S. are best suited for the use of medical grade stainless steel.
* We have the latest in etching equipment so as to provide a superior finish to our products.
* We use imported packaging pouches from Europe to pack and sterilize our products.
* All imported materials are from practically ISO & / Or CE Mark companies.
* Our packaging clean room has been designed to provide us with a completely dust free environment with positive air pressure and controlled humidity levels for proper packaging. All employees strictly abide to quality control guide lines.
* Our process traveler controls work order, quality, due date etc. Also each stage of ongoing process includes sample inspection or complete inspection. Final inspection is done per procedure in order to reject, rework or acceptance.
* Packing, Stocking and shipping department works with the quality control manager and procurement manager.
* Our product has been experimented on Pig Eye to check the cutting quality level in U.S. Cutting quality information is constantly taken from doctors and users.
InfrastructureAcute Surgicals corporate as well as manufacturing units are located in Ahmedabad, the largest city in Gujarat State, India. Ahmedabad is the fifth largest city of India and has the best infrastructure in the country. Gujarat is the most entrepreneurial and prosperous state with well educated business minded team with skilled employees which are readily available. The state is called Vibrant Gujarat and has shown immense promise in terms of industrial growth.
Our manufacturing unit occupies over 8000 sq ft with state of the art facilities. The unit is on the outskirts of the city with very easy access to major highways and the city. Its location is therefore ideal because it is secluded enough to be in a very clean environment yet is close enough for easy access. The design of the unit and its surrounding walls has been made so as to minimize the amount of dust on the premises.
We have comprehensive guidelines in place to keep the entire manufacturing unit clean and hygienic at all times. Our overall setup will meet small to large quantity without compromising quality.

The manufacturing unit is situated over 8000 sq ft on the outskirts of the city. The environment in which the manufacturing facility is located is a very clean and pristine locale. This provided us with an optimum location for an extremely well controlled manufacturing unit, an advantage most of competitors dont have.
