Application

Pulsation Dampners (Snubbers) are used with pressure gauges where sudden pressure shocks and fluctuations are present which cause the pointer to fluctuate rapidly hence making it difficult to take the gauge reading. Dampners considerably reduce pulsations and hence makes the gauge reading easier and also improves the life of the gauge.

Applications
Also known as over pressure protectors are used to protect the pressure gauge from over pressure. The gauge saver has a predefined setpoint at which it will not allow any media to flow. The setpoint can be varied for a max span of 10% of set pressure. Available for set pressure ranges from 1000mmwc (0.1 kg/cm2) upto 600kg/cm2.

Applications

Gauge Cocks are used for flow control like simple on/off, isolation applications. Suitable for pressure upto 30 kg/cm2.

Applications

The Siphon Tube is connected between the pressure gauge & process in applications where high temperature vapours or fluids are present or temperature above 65 Deg C for eg. steam. It acts as a cooling coil and protects the gauge from high temperature vapours, by dissipating heat. A gauge cock is generally connected between the pressure gauge and syphon for isolation.
