Chord Elastics are braided on machines and are made up of rubber fill. The cover yarn that is braided over the rubber fill can be cotton, polyester, nylon or polypropylene. Elastic Chords are available in a wide range of diameters and lengths and are well suited for the design of flexible suspension mechanisms. They are used by the manufacturers of men and women's underwear, athletic wear, home furnishings, pants, fleece, hosiery and industrial markets.

Woven Knitted Elastic
Woven Knitted Eelastics are less expensive and popular, due to a wide variety of tensions and thickness available in the range. Knit elastics are applied in waist bands, gloves, suspenders, belts, face mask straps, sporting goods, sweat bands, horse blankets and elastic pockets, among others.
These elastics are identified by the crosswise and parallel ribs creating a window-pane effect. It has the property of not narrowing on being stretched and can easily be stitched through.
