  Instructions for Installation of Magnetic Sensor Type M.S-1
  • Fix the power supply (consisting of Transformer, Relay & A.C -D.C Convertor), inside the control panel.
  • For connection process click on image.
  • Ensure that the reflecting hook connected to all the shuttles moves freely whenever thread connected to it breaks. 
  • The sensor should be positioned in such a way that the distance between the magnetic sensor & the magnet embedded insiide the reflector hook shall not be at a height less than 3" not nore than 4.5" and the horizontal distance between thr edge of the photocell & center of magnet should not be less than 1.5" to 2" depending upon the tension of wrap tape. 
  • Rotate the loom through inching and ensure that the sensor does not get triggered by any of the magnets embedded inside the reflector hook (please refer para 4 ). Press 'On' button and run the machine for a few minutes to ensure that the wrong triggering does not take place. 
  • Rotate the loom through inching and bring magnet (embedded inside the reflector hook) of any one shuttle in to a position similar to thatt after weft breakage and see that the magnetic sensor is triggered. Repeat this with all the other remaining three shuttles and ensure that the sensor triggers when the magnet is brought to a position similar to that after weft breakage.
  • When the sensor is conneted to the power supply Red Led will light up & when the sendor is triggred by the magnet a green LED (on top of sensor) will light up.
  • Do not bring any magnetic material nearer to the magnetic senosr as it may result in wrong triggering of the sensor.

Color Sensors are used to detect Bobbin Thread getting exhausted .It detects and stops the Loom just before the thread on the bobbin is exhausted, thus no cramming is carried out which results in Zero defect fabric.

Inter Change Ability: Our optical sensors can be used for either.
  • Conventional weft breakage method: Stops the loom & triggers the cramming device through fast & instant operation thus effecting Zero % weft wastage.
  • Shuttle detection method: Stops the loom just before the Bobbin tape is exhausted. Thus no craming takes palce resulting into zero defect fabric. for this method Bobbin with small slit provided with special reflector paper are used.
  • Zero %  Weft wastage & zero defect cloth: You have to use one sensor (either our optical/ magnetic sensor) for wett breakage  & one only optical sensor for shuttle detection method.
  • Long term benefits: Our optical sensors carries a warrantee of 18 months & guaranteed repairing for a further period of 42 months (as per warranty condition)

In MCC panels, conventional system is to adopt 2 Indication Lamps (one each for Healthy & Faulty conditions) for each Feeder. With our alarm flasher only one Indication Lamp is sufficient for each feeder. Thus each feeder will have only one indication lamp which shows steady indication in healthy condition & a flashing indication during faulty condition. This attracts the immediate attention of the supervisor since the faulty condition is highlighted by flashing of indication lamp. Rate of flashing can also be adjusted.
 
Apart from exhibiting Controllable Flashing Indication at the central place where the control panel is installed, provision also exists to activate audible sound through hooter & or visual flashing indication at the nominated place where maintenance of group of Motors and Equipment are organized, this facilitates early restoration of faults.
