The vision to form this company came from our founder Mr. L. C. Rathi, who is the forefather of the Indian Enzyme Industry. Mr. L. C. Rathi pioneered the production of Papain, a vegetable enzyme derived from papaya fruit, and set-up India's first natural enzyme plant way back in 1958. AETL has carried forth the tradition of his entrepreneurial spirit since 1989. The production at AETL is absolutely indigenous. Our Research Activities are focused on the two segments we serve viz. Healthcare and Processing Industries. Healthcare: We are aiming to shift the existing medical paradigm from one addicted to removing specific symptoms to one focused on treating and preventing the underlying causes. We are striving to transform the paradigm from Curing to Prevention. As a result we have developed the “Enzyme Therapy Complete Natural Solution” concept for Global Health. Processing Industries: In these industries we are focusing on replacing the conventional procedures that involve harsh chemicals and pollution challenges while maintaining and upgrading the quality standards of the products.
