ADVANCE FLUORINE TECHNOLOGIES PVT.LTD. (AFTPL) is Promoted by Mr. Jignesh Shah and NRI Dr.Dayal T. Meshri in 2006. Main object of this company was to do research work on fluoride base chemicals and to develop Fluorine molecules in India which has wide applications in various industries and products. Mr.Data Umalkar with his 30 years experience in Fluorine Chemistry has taken a charge of this company as Managing Director and started R&D work with his team to develop main focused on product Fluorinated Telomer. Important raw materials for these Telomers are Iodine Pentafluoride (IF5), Tetra Fluoro Ethelene(TFE) and Catalyst. ARC USA is a prime producer of IF5 and Catalyst. Hindustan Fluorocarbon Ltd. A public Limited PSU company is producer of TFE in India. TFE is hazardous in nature and difficult to pack and transport AFTPL choose to start R&D facilities in HFL premises and on great success of this R&D, AFTPL started Semi Commercial pilot plant (SCP). The product was supplied to the customer and was accepted to the entire satisfaction. On this success AFTPL proposing to expand their existing SCP facilities to 150 MT/year . For this project AFTPL has entre in agreement with HFL for TFE supplies and taken existing project along with adjourning 3 acre land on lease. These facilities will be Export Oriented Unit (EOU) and AFTPL will be supplying 1st year entire production to USA to the customer Peach State laboratories.
