This device is used where rubber expander roller are not suitable. Poly Band Expander is very much essential for the thin web, 10 microns and less. Poly Band expander performs outstandingly well for separating the web after slitting irrespective of its thickness. This device is also very much useful in processing PP & HM. Poly Band expander perform without any limitation of lead in - lead out distances and best result are obtained with wrap angle of 90 degree. Depending upon web material and gauge, we need to adjust stretch and touch in - touch out points.

The slitter rewinder machine has solid cast iron side frames for sturdy construction and smooth vibration free performance. All parts are precision ground. The rollers are mounted on sealed anti-friction bearings. At appropriate places we have provided grease points for routing.

LUG TYPE EXPANDABLE SHAFT

This is a very commonly used shaft. It mainly consists of slotted pipe, journals to suite users machine, lugs, rubber bladder and non-return valve. These types of shafts are suitable for both unwinding and winding stages. It can accommodate single core, multi cores of the width more than 150 mm. Type of pipe material, lug material are decided based on duty conditions like load, speed and core material. The limitations are, it can not take care of gauge variation or individual core speed variation since slippage is not achieved and core width less than 150 mm.
