The bio-safety cabinets are available in three models, namely Class I, Class II and Class III. Our range of Class I Biological safety cabinet is used while working with microbiological agents that come in the category of biological safety level 1, 2 and 3. This cabinet provides protection to the operator and the environment from exposure to biohazards. But it is not useful in the prevention of product samples that are handled in the cabinet.

The Class II Biological safety cabinet is also used for microbiological agents assigned to biological safety level 1,2 and 3, but it provides protection  to the product also along with the operator and environment. It is available in the following specifications:

Operating like a ventilated Glove box, the Class III bio-safety cabinet is perfect for operating with microbiological agents assigned to biological safety level 1, 2, 3 and 4. Being a gas-tight chamber, this is operated by sealed gloves, thereby providing full barrier between the worker and hazardous material. The glove box is provided with HEPA filtered supply air and double HEPA filtered exhaust so as to maintain negative pressure.

Conforming to NSF49 & En12469 Dtd standards, the bio-safety cabinets are available in the following material:

The air shower is a full-fledged assembled system that is specially designed to provide moving air in the form of spray and at a speed of 20-25m/s. The air comes out of adjustable nozzles that are fixed in the ceilings and opposing walls. The contaminated air passes through base and after filtering, it is re-circulated into the chamber. In side the walls of the unit, the duct air chases are installed.

The illumination power of the unit is measured in 100 foot candles. Both the doors of the system is locked automatically during the operation and in case of emergency or power failure they can also be opened manually.
