Natural Oils

The African Continental Express Inc. imports and exports various types of natural oils such as fuel oil, crude oil, jet fuel, gas oil etc that are used in varied industries. Crude first needs to be refined into petroleum products. The best-known of these is gasoline, or petrol. However, there are many other products that can be obtained when a barrel of crude oil is refined. These include liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), naphtha, kerosene, gas oil and fuel oil. Other useful products which are not fuels can also be manufactured by refining crude oil, such as lubricants and asphalt. These oils are offered at competitive rates and as per customers needs.

Jet Fuel

Jet fuel is a mixture of large number of of different hydrocarbons. One of the most common fuel is unleaded/paraffin oil based fuel. Jet fuels are used in ground support vehicles at airports. But it has poor lubricating ability as compared to diesel. Jet fuels contain number of additives such as:

Antioxidants- to prevent fumbleness

Antistatic agents: to prevent sparking

Corrosion inhibitors: basically used in military fuels

Fuel system icing inhibitors

Biocide: is added if the bacteria inside the fuel system exists.

Crude Oil

We are engaged in the import and export of crude oil which is a naturally occurring, flammable, liquid found in rock formation in the earth consisting of a complex mixture of hydrocarbons and other organic compound. Alkanes, cycloalkanes, aromatic hydrocarbons are mostly found in crude oil, while the other organic compounds contain nitrogen, oxygen and sulfur. The composition of crude oil varies greatly in appearance. Its is basically black or dark brown in color and is mostly found in semi solid form mixed with sand.

Fuel Oil

It is a fraction obtained from petroleum distillation, either as distillate or residue. It is basically any liquid petroleum product that is burned in a furnace or boiler for generation of heat or used for power generation in engines. It also refers to heaviest commercial fuel that can be obtained from crude oil. Residual fuel oil is less useful because of its gluey nature and contain high amount of pollutants. Heavy fuel oil are used in coal-fired plants to light up boilers. One of the major drawback of residual fuel oil is its high viscosity.
