Symptoms of boron deficiency:

• Boron deficiency symptoms are a mild chlorosis in mature leaves, which become brittle and tend to curl downwards.
• Boron deficiency causes Hollow Heart or Empty seed symptom in Cauliflower, Santra, Soybean, Papaya, and Groundnut. Boron deficiency adversely affects flowering and fruit set.
• Due to Boron deficiency fruits become deformed and lumpy, and they do not grow to full size.

The ATCA compound present in HOMAN effects on the plant which resembles to the well known effect of L-Cysteine and L-Proline in the biochemical processes at the cell level. L-Cysteine can directly used by the plant when supplied by an external source. Penetration of such compounds is very difficult through root and leaves, and whenever such things are absorbed these undergo improper translocation or metabolic degradation which obstruct the significant introduction into the normal nutritional pathways.
            On the contrary, the active sites of ATCA are adequately protected, this enables it to cross the metabolic barriers effectively and slowly release the original amino acids into cells as a result of enzymatic transformation. L-Cysteine plays an important part in the biochemical processes of the plant due to its thiol (-SH) group.
