It is estimated that the non-forest and non-oceanic natural vegetation growth in the tropics are about 375 billion tons. If we were to convert just 33% of all of these Tropical (non-forest) biomass into Bio-petrochemicals, the total Bio-petrochemicals produced in the Tropics alone would be a whopping 3 billion T. This is about 70% of the entire world productions/ consumptions, at present! Of the total 4.2 billion T petrochemicals used up in the world the United States alone consumes nearly 24% (= 1 billion T). 

What do we infer from the analyses above? Essentially, we arrive at the fact that  Biomass based Bio-petrochemicals are the answer to the world’s petrochemicals needs. We at AGRO-BIOGENICS (Clean-Tech) Private Limited (The immediate program would be to utilize all available Renewable  Resources (RR), in a closed-loop cycle, to arrive at ZERO-WASTE ZERO-CARBON BUSINESS-MODEL (ZW-ZC-BM). This is practically done at the ground level hrough AGRO-POLYMER INDUSTRY COMPLEX (APIX), which is a Closed-loop self sustainable Industrial process-system.

RR are converted into the following:

1. Energy (both Heat and Electricity) through Biogas generation and conversion
2. Carbon Sink Engineered products (CSEP), through utilization of the CO2 in biogas, combined with certain Industrial wastes
3. Alternate Engineered materials, through utilization of part of the cellulosic material in vegetation (RR).
4. Biofertilizer by way of “sludge” matter from Biogas
reaction system
5. Biowater by way of recycling not less than 65% to
70% of the insitu water/ moisture in the vegetation
matter
6. “Green” Sulfur bu way of conversion of the H2S in
the biogas It is estimated that an average 1000 ha area of Village level RR would create businesses worth not less than US $15 million tons in most tropical nations (the entire energy needs would be produced insitu, without need for Fossil based energy or
“grid” energy)

AGRO-BIOGENICS have developed a scheme to set up a Pilot
plant (APIX_PILOT) that envisages the conversion of 200000
banana stems/ wastes into the following:

The long term objective is to set up hundreds of APIX units all
over India and the tropics. There are 160 tropical nations that
NEED such developments, so that not only would they become
self sustained “rich” nations with almost all of the populations
having decent livelihood, but the said developments would
happen without increasing the carbon footprints.
