The Artech Humidity Transmitter Model RX-01 is a compact two-wire transmitter with its capacitive sensor and electronic circuitry housed in a protective enclosure. The normal configuration is for wall mounting; a duct mounting configuration can be supplied on request. The transmitter is loop powered and controls the loop current at 4-20 mA according to the calibrated range. The Artech Scan Indicator conveniently measures the temperature of several channels. It indicates on a digital display the channel being scanned at a regular interval of time, which is adjustable from 1 sec.to approx. 30 secs.per channel. The automatic scanning can be disabled by switching the SCAN / HOLD switch to the HOLD position. Manual increment of the channels is possible in the HOLD mode by pressing the 'ADVANCE' push button. The instrument accepts inputs from sensors through terminal strips situated on the back panel.
The Artech Two Wire Transmitter TX-01, converts voltage, RTD or thermocouple inputs into a 4-20 mA current output. This eliminates the need for special cables as ordinary wires can be used after the transmitter. The transmitter requires no separate power supply as it is powered by energy drawn from the current loop itself and is thus instrinsically safe when used with appropriate barriers. The TX-01 can be mounted in a standard thermocouple head in place of the terminal block. Alternately, it can be fitted into suitable weather proof and/or flameproof enclosures.
