| Pneumatic Clutches And Brakes Item Code: CCB1 We offer superior quality of pneumatic clutches and pneumatic brakes to our clients. Salient features of our pneumatic clutches and brakes are: - Working: Our pneumatic clutches/brake comprises of a clutch & spring applied disc brake which is air actuated. The clutch/ brakes are intricately designed. It has the twin attributes of high thermal capacity & low air consumption which makes it ideal for high speed, high cyclic, heavy-duty industrial application. When cylinder is pressurized, the piston clamps the clutch disc to the hub which transmits the torque to the shaft. When cylinder exhausts, the springs moves the piston in the opposite direction clamping the brake disc & stopping the shaft. The totally cancels out overlap of clutch & brakes.
- Mounting: The pneumatic clutches/ brakes are housed in a hub which is pressed & keyed to the driven shaft. These plates can be suspended on twelve pins & guide bushes or on two coaxial or non-coaxial bolts.
Applications: - Power Presses
- Press Brakes
- Guillotines
- Printing Machines
- Wood Working Machines
Advantages: - High Thermal Capacity
- Stable Coefficient of friction
- Low Air Consumption
- Low Operating & Maintenance Cost
- Easy removal of worn out linings

Multi Disc Clutches And Brakes We manufacture high quality pneumatic multi-disc clutches and brakes. Made from the best raw materials, our clutch and brakes are superior in design. The salient features of our clutches and brakes are: - Working: Our multi disc clutches/ brakes operate by actuating the piston using 'U' seals by admitting pneumatic pressure to the unit cylinder. The moving piston produces axial pressure on the clutch disc on release of air pressure piston is pushed back by multiple return springs. In spring applied brake discs is produced by multiple springs and brake is released by compressed air pushing back the piston.
- Torque Variations: The clutch units have a torque capacity directly proportional to effective air pressure in the clutch cylinder. The maximum operating air pressure allowed is 6.0 Bar.
We also have a spring applied brake units torque capacity is directly proportional to spring pressure on the brake units. Torque capacity is directly proportional to spring pressure on the brake disc. The sir pressure can be released by varying the spring complement. Specifications: Model No.

| Industrial Clutches And Brakes The features of our heavy duty pneumatic industrial clutches and brakes are: - Torque Variations: The air is pressurized in the industrial clutches/ brakes is compressed at 5.0 bar (75 psi) is applied to the rubber tube which expand & forces the friction blocks to the friction drum, transmitting the torque. When air is released to the atmosphere, release springs and centrifugal action results in positive disengagement of the clutch/brakes.
Advantages: - The torque is transmitted by steel torque bars not by the side walls of the air tube, thereby chances of air tube leakage due to slip or overload are eliminated.
- Better suitable for heavy starting loads where slipping can be prolonged, it can also be used in slipping application like sidewinder and tension brakes.
- Positive disengagement as release springs are used in this design.
- Self adjusting, no adjustment required during full life of the clutch.
- Requires no lubrication and operates in any plane.
Applications: - Paper machine drive section
- Tensioned, winding and unwinding
- Engine clutches
- General engineering applications

Drum Clutches(Heavy Duty) EAC These are rugged tyre-like fabric rein faced Rubber Air tube moulded inside the steel rim. These expand radially inward when pressurized. This constricting tube forces friction shoes against cylindrical drums. This Air pressure pressurizing the tube determines the clutch torque. More is the pressure more is the torque transmitted. Centrifugal forces coming into play when rotating ensures total disengagement as soon as pressure is released. This type is generally used in clutch & Brake application where large inertia loads are involved resulting in loss of torque & operating life. In this torque is transmitted by steel torque bars rather than the side walls of activating air tube. In this friction shoes & side plates have large air passages which allow air to flow through the clutch. This type of clutch can take substantial amount of slip. Torque at 5.2 bar 1564NM to 92500NM
