Solar and Lunar Eclipse Apparatus, fitted on metal base. The earth with its axis inclined and always pointed the same direction revolving round the sun and the moon revolving round the earth.

To demonstrate the overall shape of the solar system, the main movement of the planets and moon and the shape and direction of their orbits. This small apparatus has the planets from Mercury to Saturn on revolving arms and the moon free to rotate around the earth. The larger planets are bigger then the smaller ones but this model is not to scale. Made of rigid plastic with diagram.
