Following are some products we supplying under this head: FERROTHERM (Teeming Powder for Bottom Poured Ingots): Ferrotherm powder is used as a mould fluxing compound for casting of ingots having larger cross section. When it is added to the meniscus of the liquid steel in the mould, it produces a molten slag with low melting point covering uniformly the entire surface of the meniscus so as to prevent loss of heat due to radiation and also oxidation of liquid steel. THERMOL (Continuous Casting Mould Powder): Thermol continuous casting mould powders are synthetic slags used to cover the liquid steel meniscus in the continuous casting of steel with submerged nozzle practice. Thermol continuous casting powders are scientifically formulated with selective raw materials and have controlled chemical composition, particle size, melting characteristics and melt viscosity to achieve highly satisfactory performance. FERROTEC-SF & IC(Slag Fluidiser and Insulating Covering Compound): FERROTEC is a two component system which is used for reducing ring jam and skull formation in case of hot metal / pig iron ladles. Use of this helps in reducing temperature loss, conditions slag and results in cleaner ladle. FERROKOTE -10KF(Graphite Coating for Pig Moulds): The product is supplied in the form of powder having high refractory properties. It is best refractory coating for heated pig moulds. The product is premixed with binder and as such when sprayed, withstands high temperature and pressure from the molten metal. The release of pigs from the moulds is easy and fast. The coating being highly refractory also gives protection from the dusting and also erosion.

MOULD & CORE DRESSING (Coatings for Mould & Core):
We have developed a wide range of Mould and Core dressing / coatings required by foundries to produce castings with superior and clean surface finish and without sand wash, sand burn-on, sand fusion, metal penetration etc.

COREFILL POWDER(Refractory for Patching of Moulds & Cores):
It is a combination of mixed refractory material specially developed for patching or sealing specific areas of cores during assemblies.

STICKHARD(Core Joining Paste):
It is a core-joining & repairing paste for joining all types of cores like oil sand core, C02 cores, No Bake Cores etc. The paste after application results in a high strength bond and does not give way even at high pouring temperature and metal pressure. Nor does it swell or blow off. There is no evolution of gases during pouring. Once the paste gets set it does not absorb moisture.

SANDMIX(Additive For Green Sand Moulding):
It is a cheap air setting binder for making small and medium sized moulds. Sand made with Sandmix can be used as facing sand in Green Sand Moulding. SANDMIX is supplied in powder form. The product is simple to use and its sand can be mixed in any ordinary sand muller.

COAL BOND 75 POWDER(For Green Sand Mould Practice):
Coal Bond Powder is finding increasing application in progressive foundries as a substitute for coal-dust powder in green sand moulding for Grey, Malleable and S.G.Iron Castings. Product is prepared from well selected raw materials of controlled chemical composition and fineness.

SILSET - 8(Silicate Base Binder for CO2 Cores & Moulds):
It is made from silicate binder for the CO2 Silicate Process. As it already contains a break-down agent, use of external breakdown agent can be totally eliminated.

MELTEX HOT TOPS(Insulating / Exothermic Type):
Our Hot Tops are pre - fabricated, prebaked, light weight, highly insulating or exothermic shapes used as feeder heads, fitted on, or inserted in the ingot moulds.

MELTEX SLEEVES(Exthermic and Insulating Sleeves):
Meltex is a range of exothermic and insulating sleeves. Meltex sleeves are used to ensure proper feeding of the castings while reducing the size of the sand riser.

KOLDLINE(insulating Ladle Lining System):
A disposable insulating lining system for grey iron & steel pouring ladies.The Koldline ladle lining boards are available for Bottom pouring, Lip pouring (75-5000 Kg) & Teapot pouring(below 75 Kg) system. Its boards are available in Silica, Magnesite CT, DX (Duplex) versions.

HOT TOPPING COMPOUNDS:(Insulating and Exothermic Type Anti-Piping Compounds):
These are a series of anti-piping compounds used as covering for casting risers to increase the feeding efficiency of the riser and at the same time confine shrinkage cavities to safe level in riser.

FEEDWEL - 18(Exothermic A.P.C. for Aluminium & Copper Base Alloys):
The product is in the form of powder (faint coloured) and is recommended to be used as Anti Piping Compound (Hot Topping Compound) on risers of Aluminium base and copper base alloys castings.

THERMOFEED(Mouldable Exothermic Powder for CI Steel & Non-Ferrous Castings):
Thermofeed is a mouldable exothermic compound recommended to be used during the production of medium and heavy ferrous and non-ferrous castings. With Thermofeed, shapes such as sleeves, pads etc. can be made. It increases the efficiency of the riser by developing high temperature of the melt in the riser and keep it in liquid condition for long time. Use of Thermofeed confines shrinkage cavities within risers.

Our insulation steel plant refractory is very a useful product with immense qualitative features. Under this, we are providing following products:

MAGLINE - 70(Basic Spraying Mass for Tundish Lining):
Magline-70 is highly insulating Basic refractory mass based on dead burnt Magnesite. MAGLINE is applied inside tundish in the form of a coating by using a special refractory spraying machine. MAGLINE is to be used as a working lining on permanent lining of tundish either castable or brick lining.

METASLAB CT SETS(Cold Tundish Lining System):
Metaslab CT Sets are used in Tundish for continuous casting of steel. This is a light weight, highly insulating, disposable assembly, which is fitted inside a prelined tundish. Metaslab assembly does not require any preheating and is known as the cold lined tundish technology.

MAGNASLAB SETS(Basic Tundish Lining System):
Magnasiab tundish lining system is used for continuous casting of steel. This is light weight, highly insulating disposable assembly which is fitted inside a refractory lined tundish. The boards are basic in nature (Magnesite base).

We are a leading name in providing resins foundry products which are further classified under following heads:

UNISET(Phenolic Urethane Cold Box Process):
This is a highly reactive and efficient cold box process. UNISET 710 and UNISET 720 resins are mixed together with sand and the sand mixture is cured within seconds when a gaseous amine catalyst is passed through this mixture.

QUICKSET (Phenolic Urethane Nobake Binder System):
It is a three part phenolic resin binder system recommended for mould and core making. This system is self setting at atmospheric temperature and has a faster rate of curing. The system is most ideal for continuous and fast production of moulds and cores.

SHELL RESIN(Phenol Formaldehyde Resin):
Shell Bond 610 is a novolac type phenolic resin developed to give higher hot tensile strength with same addition compared with conventional shell resin. This helps in reducing the binder level in coated sand, which in turn gives moulds or core with low gas content. This property makes it an ideal binder for intricate cores such as valve bodies which are surrounded by heavy metal section.

METACURE(3 Part No Bake Binder):
Metacure System is a alkyd No bake binder. It is an alkyd resin-isocyanate based organic process and it is used for moulding and coremaking. The system is recommended for the production and medium and heavy moulds or cores. It can also be used as the facing sand in making moulds.

FUROBOND(Furan Two Part No Bake System):
It is a two-part furan base nobake system for mould and core making.

UNIKOTE-1000(Long Lasting Corrosion Preventing Coat):
It is a SINGLE COMPONENT, corrosion preventive Resin based coating in liquid form. When it is applied on surface, it penetrates inside every microscopic cracks and crevices due to its ULTRA HIGH SURFACE ATTRACTION. After some time, solvent part of liquid evaporates leaving a film. This film provides excellent long term corrosion protection on metal surface. Excellent adhesion property of UNIKOTE-1000 does not allow corrosion to spread further to nearby areas. UNIKOTE-1000 coating does not attract dirt, dust, mud, fungus or any other deposit.

RUST PREVENTIVES(Rust Preventive Oils):
These are Corrosion Preventive and water displacing fluids which leaves tacky film after application which acts as a protective barrier. These products can be applied for rust protection on various types of metal components which are to be subsequently wrapped in paper, for interoperational protection, for removal of soluble oil emulsions etc.

UNISEAL (Water Proofing Compound):
Uniseal is a ready to use as adhesive as well as water proofing for concrete slabs. It is one component system and does not require the addition of any other additive.It can be used for ordinary joints, cracks etc. Uniseal is specially designed for water proof ing of surfaces; like water tanks, house roofs, outdoor exposed metal.

WOODKOTE(Anti termite and moisture proof system):
A ready to use protective coating for wood. It is self curing at normal temperature and a tough elastomeric coating resistant to humidity and termite attack. Woodkote is a ONE COMPONENT system and does not require the addition of a catalyst. Woodkote costs no more than house paint nor it is difficult to apply. Woodkote can be used where ordinary coating would chip and crack. It stands against ambient temperature variations and weather.

SEEDER(Inoculant for Cast Iron):
Seeder is a product in granular form used as an inoculant for treatment of cast iron melts in ladle. When the molten cast iron is treated with Seeder, the chill is reduced and improvement in mechanical properties as well as machinability is observed. Inoculation is necessary for the production of sound casting with uniform mechanical properties through out the section.

CARBON BLOCKS(Briquettes to Increase Carbon Content):
Carbon Blocks are used to increase carbon content of cast iron melts. Product consists of carburisers and supplied in the form of block. Carbon Blocks are charged alongwith metallic charging materials in the cupola. As the liquid metal trickles down in the cupola hearth, it comes in contact with carbon blocks and picks up carbon.

CUPOLA BLOCKS(Briquettes to Increase Slag Fluidity and Metal Temperature):
Cupola blocks increases the slag fluidity and metal temperature of liquid metal. It also helps to reduce pigging and removes considerable amount of slag inclusion from the liquid metal. The flux lowers the melting point of lime stone in the cupola which in turn directly reacts with silica from coke ash and form fluid slag. This improves contact between burning coke and oxygen. The reaction result in faster melting rate, higher metal temperature and higher fluidity.

DESULPHURISER(Desulphuriser for Cast Iron):
Desulphuriser is a flux used to reduce the sulphur content of molten steel in the ladle. The product is basic in nature and it chemically combines with the suphur to form a stable compound which easily separates from the molten steel.

GASREMOVER(Gasremover for Cast Iron):
A flux for application to cast iron in the ladle. Gasremover has scavenging action which degasses and removes oxides and slag inclusions from the melt, without drop in temperature.

A range of chemical degassing and degaassing/ grain refining agents for the removal of hydrogen from melts of "Aluminium & Aluminium Alloys".

GRAIN REFINER(Tablets For Grain Refining Of AL & AL Alloys):
A range of grain refining agents for Aluminium & Aluminium alloys. The product in this range is supplied in tablet form of 50 gms, 250 gms and 500 gms weight.

DRESSWEL-HPDC(High Pressure Die Casting):
A series of die face and plunger lubricants for use in Pressure die castings.

DRESSWEL(Gravity And Low Pressure):
A series of insulating, semi insulating/ lubricating and lubricating dressings for the protection and lubrication of die faces and to control rate of solidification in gravity die casting.

DIELUB(Plunger Lubricant):
Dielub is a ready to use dressing (thin paste) for application on plunger of pressure die casting machine for faster rate of production. DIELUB is efficient lubrication for plungers. It is applied on the plunger by brushing.

TAAMBRUS(Protecting & Refining Flux for Cu Alloys):
Taambrus range of fluxes (Powders / Blocks) are recommended as fluxing agents during melting of Copper Base alloys. Depending on the type of melting furnace the flux has to create either oxidising conditions or reducing / neutral conditions. Following types of fluxes are available.
