Transformer Oil Filtration Plants

We have with us a quality range of Transformer Oil Filtration Plants. These have a break down Voltage from 20 KV to more than 50 KV and Filtration level up to < 1 micron. Moreover, these plants are available in portable & mobile versions for our clients to choose from.

Salient feature:

• Moisture contents - from 50 -100 PPM to < 5 PPM

• Gas contents – up to < 0.05 % by volume

• Neutralization value- < 0.1 mg of KOH / gram

• Plants with minimum and easy maintenance

• Low operating cost due to high vacuum filtration with rotary oil sealed pumps

Application:

1. Oil transfer & circulation system:

• The plants will have two pumps for oil transfer and circulation

• Both pumps will be positive displacement gear type, directly coupled with electric motor

• The plants will have necessary valves and piping to ensure easy operation and maintenance

1. Heating System:

• The plants will have an insulated heater chamber with indirect type bobbin heater for heating of oil up to 80 °C

• The working temperature for filtration will be 55 °C

• Heater pipes will be finned to have more efficient heat transfer

• Temperature will be controlled with thermostat or Digital Temperature indicator cum controller

1. Filtration System:

• The filtration system is suitable for removing suspended particles such as colloidal carbon, oxidation sludge, dirt, rust

1. Degassing chamber and vacuum system:

• The oil dispersed while passing through fine filter will be sprayed on reaching ring tray to have an exposure of oil film to vacuum, because of which moisture removal rate will be increased

1. Degassing chamber will be evacuated with rotary oil sealed vacuum pump moisture trap, valves, etc.
