Established in the year of 1985, we at Akar limited are involved in making business stationery and children stationery. Our factory is situated near National Highway No. 8 which is also close to the Western Railways prominent station Vapi, therefore transportation of material to our factory becomes expedient. It is due to the company’s organized functioning that we are able to provide our clients with supreme quality of writing pads, scrap books and many more.
We pay our gratitude to our loyal and dedicated team of 300 employees for their determined efforts & hard work. Our special team of designers creates ingenious designs so as to offer our clients with inimitable designs. From printing to their finish every item is stringently checked by quality auditors through latest technological means. It is only because of the support of such a dedicated team, that we have successful converted our dreams & visions into reality.

Our Group of Experts
It is with the assistance of our mentor Mr. Ashok Jain that we have been successfully venturing into our business. In coalition with him are the efforts put by our board of directors who had extensively helped in creating a niche for us on the international spectrum. Following are the personals with whose aid we have been enjoying new horizons of success:
• Mr. Sunil G. Shikarkhane, Director, Marketing & Sales, with his more then 18 years of experience in the sphere of Marketing/Sales, is associated with the company for over 12 years.
• Mr. Haridwar B. Shah, Director, Production and Planning, having experience of over 22 years in the Printing Industry has dedicatedly worked for organization for the past 20 years.
• Mr. Rahul Jain Director, System Development and Mrs. Jyoti A. Jain, Director, Administration, are with us since the day of our inception, for which we have been permitted to dream and achieve the unachievable.
The entire group of directors is qualified as well as holds passable knowledge and experience in the respective field of their activities. For their support there is a devoted and competent team of executives who enthusiastically works for benefiting our organization. |
Our Milestones
We have followed a long journey of hard work, dedication, upheavals and success. Some of our legendary and progressive steps are:
• In the year of 1987: we formed ourselves as a corporate body, when it was incorporated as Akar Print & Pack Pvt. Ltd. Along with it, we have set up our own production facilities.
• Year 1994: our organization got the reclamation of being a closely held limited company. For proper maintenance of the organization, we took a special step in inviting professionals to carry the responsibility of being the Board of Directors of the company.
• Year 1995: OIn this very year we have shifted our base to Silvassa, Union Territory of Dadra & Nagar Haveli. Th I s step was taken in order to smooth the progress of the expansion plans and to gain fiscal benefits offered by the Government of India.
• Year 1997: For facilitating our workforce, a dormitory with canteen facility was set up in different grounds covering an area of 8,000 sq. ft. It was developed to offer free lodging and boarding facility to all our workers, supervisors & managers.
• Year 2000: It was the year of dotcom revolution and we implemented the advance modes of information technology. We took a progressive decision to take a plunge in this revolution by generating an ultra-modern creative studio. Since then, we are providing contents and creative graphics to our Pharmaceutical clients.
• Year 2002: With the advent of this year, we established an ultra modern Corporate & Marketing office at our present premises at Laxmi Plaza, Laxmi Industrial Estate, New Link Road, Andheri (W), Mumbai. |
Warehouse & Packaging
We boast of our spacious warehouse of 20,000 sq feet, which has the ability of storing bulk amount of stationery items. Our warehouse is facilitated with all the requisite machines and safety systems by which we are able to store our items in a highly secured way. The entire warehouse is monitored by managers who keep strict record of the documents and details regarding our array. All the items are properly labeled and the referential details are advantageously maintained.
Our top grade godown of 14,000 sq. ft. also enables us to store raw material and finished items. Being fire & flood proof these godowns also shelter the material from the humid climate. We also pack them in distinctive material such as corrugated boxes/ cartons/ sheets, ldpe/ hmhdpe, shrink wrapping and in stretch wrapping. All the items are then thoroughly tested before their final dispatch so that our clients receive authentic variety of stationary. |

Processing Unit

• Printing: Our printing unit is based at Silvassa-Dadra, located amidst lush green environs. The printing press is sufficed with advance & technically superior printing machines, imported from the esteemed multi national companies.

• Post-Press: post to the printing of our range, we designate 150 specifically trained contract workers to process our array in a perfect way. These skilled workers carry their job with the help of advance machineries, imported from UK, Germany, USA and Italy. • Finishing: Since the finishing of any item brings a magnificent look to it, we put our best efforts in giving an excellent finesse to our array. We are facilitated with most recent technology in the field of UV coating and Wet and Dry Lamination for giving special effects to print and promotion jobs.
• Power supply: our organization has a high tension supply line with an authorized load of 350 kva which is sufficient to ensure of its present and future necessities. For unremitting power supply, the company has a separate transformer and stand-by generator of 150 kva. We have under-taken exceptional steps to alleviate the power supply to our electronic and computerized machines to curtail the damage caused by fluctuation in power supply from the main grid. |
