• Dr. Sarkar Allen institute Pvt. Limited, is also known as Calcutta Drug Textile Institute Pvt. Ltd. is a research and a drug testing institute and it is recognized within the Allen group.

It started its business operations since its inception period but now its operations are being carried out by the eldest son of Dr. Sarkar, is engaged in the marketing of Pharmaceuticals and Ayurvedic products through effective business policies.

·         Allen industries Ltd. is executed by Mr. M.K.Sarkar .It comprises of various sections and one of the section among them is the IT section known as the AIS section, which fulfills the needs of the software requirements.

·         Emars Allen Pharma Pvt. Ltd. is headed by Mr. S.S Sarkar. He is the younger son of our mentor Dr. Sarkar. It deals in the sales, distribution and marketing of Pharmaceutical, Ayurvedic, Homeopathic medicines in the west Bengal region.

·         Allens India Ltd. is another marketing and distribution division of Ayurvedic and Homeopathic medicines which is produced by Allen Homeo International Pvt. Ltd. and Perk Allen Herbal Pvt. Lt d.

·         Jupiter Allen India limited, is headed by Ms. Sulakshmi Sarkar, daughter of Dr. Sarkar. It is a marketing division of Allen Laboratories Ltd. deals in promotion, trading, distribution of Ayurvedic, homeopathic, OTC products of Allen laboratories Ltd. and it also deals in liver care brand products like livosin and hair care products like Arnica Plus, Triofer. It has 20 branch offices and 2000 strong distribution networks that are managed by strong professional force.

Allen laboratories Ltd is approved by the central and state Drug authorities. We are very peculiar about the selection of the raw materials. They are keenly selected so that their purity can be maintained. We follow the following guidelines for testing the purity of the drug substance:

• Purity is tested through the UV sprectrophoto meter in order to maintain the quality of the raw materials as per the HP standards.

• Thin layer chromatography ensures the purity of the drug substance.

• In order to test the presence of the drug and its components microscopically study is being done.

• Particular chemical tests are being done as per H.P.I. standards to detect that the quality of the drug matches with the H.P.I. standards.

• The herbs should have rich constituents.

• All the drug substances are properly checked through multifaceted approach through the highly upgraded technological devices.

• In the preparation of the mother tinctures the part of the herb should peculiarly match as per the H.P.I Standards. Microscopically study ensures that the raw material used is purely free from contamination.
