About Us

“ALLIED ENGINEERING” was established as a Proprietary Concern by Mr. S .Rajan in Dec '80 at a rented premise in the MIDC Area of Nashik. It was shifted to its own premises in January 1983. Mr. Rajan is a Mechanical Engineer who has worked extensively in different concerns before beginning his own Industry. His last employment was with a German Industry based in United Arab Emirates. He chose Nashik for this venture because of its proximity to Mumbai and its fast growing industry.

“Allied Engineering” was an immediate success in its chosen field of Sheet Metal Pressing. We were able to cater to the needs of Luggage Industries like VIP & Samsonite. Switchgear Industries like Crompton & Schneider Electric and Automobile Industries like Mahindra, Mahindra Spicer, Hero Honda, etc. Resulting in “Allied” becoming one of the leading suppliers of sheet metal components to the above mentioned industries.

The desire to innovate however had us venture into development of our own products. We were successful in the year 1986 when we started manufacturing the “Textile Spinning Arm under the brand name – AE 25” which is still extensively used for Cotton Yarn Spinning. Today Allied is the principal supplier of AE 25 to KVIC (Khadi & Village Industries Corporation) and its ancillaries who are manufacturing the “Ambar Charka”.

In the year 2002, Allied Engineering was converted to a private limited firm – “ALLIED METAL PRESSINGS PVT LTD”.

We have recently launched (5th of Aug, 2010) our latest line of products called “Allied Home Products” . Initially we are bringing - “Towel Hangers, Multi-purpose Holders and CD Racks.” - to the market (expect more soon). These are of international standards with a unique design which are marketed in India for the first time.
