Vision & Mission
The world in the 21st Century will be one dominated by LED lighting. This is the core belief on which ALPL was founded. Currently the most efficient lighting sources are flourescent and other discharge technologies. LED's have already overtaken these light sources in terms of efficacy and form factor. The current rush is to adapt LED light sources to various applications in the most optimal manner. With the luminous flux (lm) per package doubling annually (Moore's law in lighting ) and efficacy racing towards the theoretical maximum (current levels already exceed 130 lm/W) LED's are the future of lighting.
