We are among the reputed names in the industry engaged in the manufacturing, exporting and supplying of a comprehensive gamut of activated carbon that is applicable in various industries such as textile, paper, printing and other industries.
Activated Carbon
Available with us is Activated Carbon for Decoloriscfrier that is a micro porous material, processed from carbonaceous raw material such as wood, coconut shell and rice husk. The activation process results in the development of numerous pores of molecular dimensions within the carbon which together constitutes a huge internal surface area. The carbon atoms present in the internal surface of the activated carbon apply an attraction on the molecules of the surrounding gases and liquids. However, the strength of this force depends on the molecular structure of the surrounding medium. By employing this mechanism, activated carbon can be used to remove varied components from a mixture.
Primarily, activated carbons are used as purifying and discoloring agents in an extensive range of processes and have an absorbing capacity ranging from 10% to 90% of their own weight of impurities from Aquarius solution. Activated carbon is added to the process liquor in an agitated vessel and filtered off after the required contact time. Moreover, the activated carbon offered by us is available in two forms of powdered activated carbon & granular.
We offer our clients an array of Activated Carbon for Compressed Air/Gas Dryers that is processed using coconut shell based charcoal procedure. These are primarily non-graphite form of carbon, which can be produced from any carbonaceous material like coal, wood, paddy husk, coconut shell and others.
However, we process them using coconut shells as it is considered to be the most appropriate raw material due to the presence of small macro pores structure that make it more effective for absorbing gas/ vapor and enable in easy removal of color & odor of compounds.
We offer an assortment of Activated Carbon for Amine Filtration that is manufactured using the latest technology of Chemical Activation. This technology was introduced by Japan and is highly effective for producing superior grade powder carbons. We also employ few other conventional methods for formulating powder carbons that include steam activation that is in use since the time of World War I.
Recognized by Chemically Activated Grade ICP-20, our entire product range leads the market as it results in lesser generation of solid waste with regard to used Activated Carbons.
We manufacture a range of Activated Carbon for Solvent Recovery that is processed using high quality raw material sourced from reliable vendors across the globe and is stringently tested for its optimal quality. Being the standard measure for liquid phase applications, a gram of activated carbon can have a surface area in excess of 500m².
Activated carbon helps in binding material by Van der Waals force or London dispersion force. This chemical can be availed from us in different packagings as per the requirements of our clients.
