About Us The foundation of AMCO Group was based on the inception of AMC Coated fabrics ltd. in the year 1981.The company started by manufacturing PVC Leather cloth by way of coating process and with large capacities available on two coating lines achieved brand equity in the domestic and to some extent in the international markets. The success of AMC Coated Fabrics Ltd. prompted the promoter to enhance its product profile and therefore in the year 1991 two calendar machines were added to introduce PVC Films and Sheeting into the market. In its effort to excel in the complete product range the company grew from strength to strength to become leaders in the manufacturing of PVC Films and Sheeting. As success dawned on the project the management used bold and enterprising strategies to reinvent itself. Massive expansions were pursued and in 1996 through foresight, the company decided to get into manufacturing Aluminum Foil by Cold Rolling Process. This product has added impetus to the growth of the company creating new insights into a product with a bright future thereby enhancing the company into being leaders in complete range of products of aluminum foil and foil laminates. |
InfrastructureThe entire group has modern state of the art technology available in three huge factories, two of them are based in Noida (U.P.) and one in Bhiwadi (Rajasthan).
PVC Leather cloth unit has two coating lines along with ancillary equipment to manufacture the desired product range on an area of 3,200square meter, having an installed capacity of 48,00,000 meters per annum.
PVC Films and Sheeting unit based in Noida has two calendar lines with complete ancillary equipment along with testing facilities in a modern in-house laboratory to undertake test procedures at the input and output stages of production .The total site area of the plant is 3600square meter and the installed production capacity is 4800 metric tones per annum.
Aluminum Foil and Foil Laminates unit has three auxiliary shop floors ,besides main shop floor covering over 7000sq.yards area eachThese house a high universal rolling line ,two station coating machines ,’four color’ gravure printing machine ,a laminator (heat and pressure) ,automatic slitters etc .And above all, automatic roll grinding machine which helps provide superior finish to the product.
Quality Policy / ProcessesQuality Policy The management’s standing obsession with quality excellence has created today’s AMCO .For this the management not just committed its resources but intact accepted exposure to great financial risks to generate resources and create a huge but essential infrastructure of modern equipment and machinery. This has paid off in terms of quality levels of globally accepted standards ,also very naturally conforming to ISI and such domestically used parameters .Total quality management is the gospel of both shop floor ,marketing ,and the company itself .Setting up the standards right raw material supplier selection stage and taking care to benchmark quality there on. Spots checks and online checks are carried out by an automated inspection measures. This is duly followed up by confirmatory lab tests. Moreover ,physical supervision at various important points during the work flow ensures water tight quality management.
Keeping in spirit with “Total Quality Management”, diversified operations and machineries have been synchronized to produce varied and multi-faceted products.
