 | Centering & Plunge Facing Machines  Centering and Plunge Facing Machines are Fully Automatic and meant for the engineering industries. These machines are most suitable for centering, plunge facing, chamfering and external turning of the two ends simultaneously of the bar stock, such as camshafts, crankshafts, motor-shafts, universal joints, spiders etc. ensuring perfect alignment of centers, accurate lengths and true end.  | Honing Machine  Most jobs can be honed with the standard universal fixture with interchangeable tool holders. The SPM make Honing machine is of heavy duty, with plenty of power to run upto 2500 RPM. The machine is provided with a wide range of stroking rate from 80 to 310 strokes/min.
Bores from 3 mm Ø to 51 mm Ø can be autosized and power stroked.
Bores from 2.0 Ø to 165 Ø can be manually sized.
Workpieces with length upto 250mm can be power
stroked or manually stroked.
TThe bores can be honed square with the locating face, using special set-up.
Mechanical sizing is achieved by crank and linkage
mechanism.
Autosizing and stop is achieved by a sensing tip and self energized stroking.
Power Stroking
It completely eliminates the tiring job of manual stroking. It is a controlled operation. Feed rates, stroke length, stroke speed can be set and locked. Power stroking assures constant stroke length, stroke rate, and stone feed for high production rates.
Automatic Sizing
After setting the diameter of sensing tip (the plug) to about 5 to 8 microns smaller than the finish diameter of the bore being honed, the sensing tip is prepositioned so that it will enter a to size bore as the workpieces moves back through its last 3mm increment of stroke.
As long as the bore is undersize the sensing tip will be depressed at the back end of each stroke and the stroking circuit will be energized for one more stroke. As soon as enough stock is removed the sensing tip slips in to the bore. The stroking circuit is de-energized and the honing cycle stops automatically.
The bore is to size and the machine is ready for next cycle.
Fixturing And Tooling
The fixtures can be easily & quickly installed to the stroking arm at the machine. It accommodates variety of jobs with different sizes, shape & length. Fast & Easy to loading work on a wide variety of components, especially useful on thin valves, small parts with smooth surfaces & pieces with sharp projections handle rests on bar of machine to absorb honing torque.
Wide variety of honing units available as per job, size, length & type.
Honing units are provided with quick change adaptors to facilitate easy mounting on the machine.

Universal Tool and Cutter Grinder  Functional Versatility The grinding machine basically designed for sharpening and recondition wide range of high speed and carbide tipped tolls as side & face milling cutters, cylindrical cutters, angle cutters, convex & concave cutters, gear hobs, end mills, shell mills reamers, drills, taps etc.
Construction Wheel Head : It is of rigid construction and holds the spindle assembly. It can be fitted horizontally and swiveled vertically full 360 degree, for quick setting of compound angles. Wheel head is mounted on the rigid column, which can be raised/lowered up/down. Wheel head also can be adjusted 150 mm on cross direction.
Wheel Head Spindle : Alloy steel hardened and ground spindle is mounted on precision preloaded radial ball bearings, which are greased packed. The grinding wheels can be mount ed on both sides of the spindle and the wheels mount design is such that the spindle can be reversed.
Work Table : This is mounted on the carriage and can be swiveled 45 degrees on either side of the column. This table has a smoother and rapid movement longitudinally on the carriage through a roller chain guided and supported in jibs. Slow movement is through a reduction gearbox. Change over from rapid to slow movement is through a push/pull knob. The precise movement on roller chain enables smooth, sensitive and accurate longitudinal movement even with heavy jobs. The adjustable reversing dogs on the work table are spring loaded for shockproof reversal of table.
Auxiliary Table: This table is mounted on work table and in both horizontal and vertical planes. It can hold job up to 600 mm with the aid of raising blocks. It's spindle nose has ISO 50/MT 5 tapers and the spindle is mounted to taper roller bearings.
