The Ballistic Filler material is enclosed in a highly visibility water-proof cover, complete with lifting straps and marked (DANGER). The Blast Containment Ring and Bomb Suppression Blanket are fold into a compact, easily carried solder bag.

HOW USEFUL IS BOMB SUPPRESSION BLANKET (BSB) AND BLAST CONTAINMENT RING (BCR)? Bomb Suppression Blanket (BSB) and Blast Containment Ring (BCR) are suitable for use in Railway Stations, Important Trains, Airports, Bus Terminals, Post Offices, Weekly Markets, PCR Vans, Control Room in Festivals/Fairs and Theaters etc.

The Blast Containment Ring is first placed on its edge around the suspected bomb/Improvised Explosive Device (IED) and the Bomb Suppression Blanket is then placed over the Blast Containment Ring and suspected bomb, while awaiting examination. This combo deters side fragmentation discharge as well as top discharge. Should a detonation or explosion occur, the ring directs the force of the blast upwards and the Blanket flexes and contains most of the fragments created by the explosion so that the damage to personnel or property in the area is considerably reduced. It provides prompt and effective method for dealing with suspected packages.

Bomb Suppression Blanket (BSB) is available in two sizes:

 • 130 cm x 150 cm, 150 cm X 200 cm and 200 cm X 200 cm
• Blast Containment Ring (BCR) is available in size
• 60 cm X 60 cm OR 43 cm x 100 cm

The Bomb Suppression Blanket (BSB) and Blast Containment Ring (BCR) will protect 17 grain steel fragments with V50 of 415 to 650 mtrs/sec. and divided in three different Protection level, namely, F1, F2 and F3.

The Telescopic Manipulator is manufactured from non-magnetic material and has been specifically designed to enable bomb disposal operators to handle explosive devices and dangerous materials from a relatively safe distance. It can be used in conjunction with the Explosive Disruption Shield to provide an even higher level of protection for the operator.
