Amrut Spintex has the state of art Spinning Machines of LMW of Coimbatore and also the erstwhile FEHRER company machine of DREF II. The DREF II machine is unique in itself and no machine in the world is capable to beat it''s quality in the production of Core Spun yarns in Coarse counts. We Own 24 Spindles DREF 2 and it is utilised for the recycling of various textile wastes, as well as the spinning of technical and other specialty yarns. The yarn count range starts at Nm 0.5 (Ne 0.3) and in special cases, extends to Nm 6 (Ne 3.54). DREF 2 yarns are employed for blankets, upholstery fabrics, secondary carpet backings, cleaning cloths and mops from cotton waste, filler yarns for the carpet, cable and rope industry, filter cartridges for all types of liquid filtration, asbestos substitutes, such as heavy protection garments, friction linings (clutch and brake linings), flame-resistant packings and sealings. 1)CORE : POLYESTER FILAMENT, SHEATH: WATER ABSORBENT FIBRE. This yarn is used widely in Cable industries which is a vey good absorber of water and does not allow the water to percolate onto the main winding of the cable. 2) CORE : GLASS FILAMENT, SHEATH : POLYESTER STAPLE FIBRE. This yarn is used widely in Construction uses where Glass Filament is an excellent repellent of Heat and Flame and Polyester provides the additional strength and cover to the Glass Filament. This yarn can be weaved and also used as Carpet Backing in Developed countries where fire safety norms are very stringent. 3) CORE: POLYESTER FILAMENT, SHEATH : POLYPROPYLENE STAPLE FIBRE. This yarn is usually used for weaving of nets where this yarn is used either as Warp or Weft and Polypropylene Filament as the other. This yarn has wide usage in Carpet Backing Industry. 4) 100% POLYPROPYLENE : This yarn is very good and widely used all over the world for producing Filter Cartridges for water filters. 5) 100% BLEACHED COTTON : This is fast replacing the Polypropylene wound Filter Cartridges in Advanced countries as cotton Bleached with good Absorbency properties and norms of EP and BP are more conducive to health than the commonly used Polypropylene Yarn Cartridges. Amrut Spintex is also Manufacturing Polypropylene Spun yarn in various counts, viz. 12/1 s Ne, 15/1 s Ne, 24/1 s Ne and also in TWO, THREE AND FOUR PLY. We have got the Veejay Lakhmi TFO s of VJ 150 HS and our packages are wound into 1.95 kgs cones, which are cleared Electronically by Muratec Winding Machine.
