We are an associate company of Anand teknow aids group of companies having diversified interests in the field of Hot Dip Galvanizing of M.S & C.I products. We are having state of art Hot Dip Galvanizing facility at five star MIDC, Indapur with production capacity of 2400 tonnes per month. We cater to sundry galvanizing for various type of steels used in Transmission towers, Telecom towers, Highway furniture, Infrastructure, Railway electrification, gratings, cable trays, pipes, pipe products, fabricated brackets, other components & virtually everything in steel.

MANUFACTURING PROCESS (HOT DIP GALVANIZING PLANT)


The manufacturing process in nutshell can be described as under:

• The structural steel / grating for galvanizing are procured.
• The steel articles are dipped into "Caustic Soda Solution" for "Degreasing"
• The load is rinsed in "Rinsing Tank" containing clean water
• The load is then preserved in "Pickling Tank" containing HCL 10-12% for first pickling
• Second pickling is performed in "Second Pickling Tank" which contains HCL - 10-32%
• The load is again rinsed in "Rinsing Tank" containing clean water
• Next step is "Pre-fluxing" wherein the material is dipped in "Pre-Fluxing" tank containing "Zinc Ammonium"
• The load is then dipped into molten zinc at 440-460 degree Celsius which is termed as "Hot Dip Galvanizing"
• The material then is "Quenched" by passing through running water
• The material is due for dispatch after "Passivation" and inspection formalities.

• Acid Tank : 8.0 mtr. X 1.0 mtr. X 3.0 mtr.
• Quenching Tank : 8.0 mtr. X 1.0 mtr. X 3.0 mtr.
• Dichromating Tank : 8.0mtr. X 1.2 mtr. X 1.2mtr.
• Hot-Dip Galvanizing Tank: 8 mtr. X 1.2 mtr. X 1.6 mtr. (L, B, D)

GALVANIZING PLANT:

THE PRODUCT:

Galvanising is a surface treatment process for steel wherein the steel structures / products after the preliminary cleaning process are dipped into molten zinc at the temp of 450 C thereby forming a smooth layer on the surface of metal.

APPLICABILITY:

Galvanizing is an inevitable process which not only gives the product an aesthetic look but also increases the life of the metal; this process being highly rust resistant.
