Fire Resistant

Tempered martensic layer applied on these bars make them resistant to fire with temperature range up to 600 degree Celsius. Designed at normal temperature of 460 N N/mn, offers strength to these bars and make them heavy duty when compared to normal CTD bars.

Corrosion Resistant

Bars offered by us are highly treated by thermo mechanical process which ensures strength of these products and makes them resistant to rust and corrosion. Presence of chloride ions in concrete helps in corrosion of the steel and iron bars.

Earthquake Resistant

High ductility and resistance to fatigue, provides strength to our products to bear even strong earthquakes. These bars are highly efficient for being used in big construction projects like dams, bridges and sky scrappers. Our products are especially designed to meet requirements of earthquake prone areas.

Weldability

Bars offered by us are chemically treated at time of manufacturing to increase its weld ability. Being better than conventional CTD bars, our product supports lap welding as well as butt welding under ordinary conditions using retile coated electrodes.

Some specific advantages of these products include:

• For welding these products situations of pre and post heating is not required.

Formabilily & Ductility

The unique feature of elongation in a uniform manner of our products ensures excellent bending ability and workability. To offer high ductility in our products, we take care of carbon percentage and try to bring down percentage content to its minimum level.

Cost Saving

Yield strength decides reinforcement and hence value of construction. Being technically superior, these products are high in tensile strength and saves steel to a percentage level of 10 to 20 percent. 

bsp;     Melting: mixture of pig iron with sponge and additional raw materials are put into furnace during the procedure of melting. To achieve proper refining and the chemical composition of steel billets numerous other chemicals are added into molten metal. In order to ensure the premium quality transparency of steel billets are checked by numerous tests conducted on different parameters.

• Reheating and rolling: in this process heating of steel billets are done at the temperature of 1200 degree Celsius, in reheating furnace of pusher kind that is oil fired. The billets in their heated forms are made to pass through mill stand rollers that help in reduction of the billets to its actual size and meet exact requirements of clients.
• Quenching: In the process, the bars manufactured are cooled to optimum temperature from 900 degree Celsius. For carrying on with the process of quenching, we use a box that is automated and fitted with German technology turbo quench. To help in formation of martensitic layer to offer a hard core to these bars, these bars are made to pass through surface hardening systems. This layering ensures durability of the bars and makes them reliable.
• Self Tempering: At time of self tempering, the bar passes through quenching box maintaining an appropriate temperature for gradients through different cross sections and has high core temperature as compared to that of the surface, which in turn allows transfer of heat to the core from surface, which offers martensite structure to the bars. Maintaining austenitic core, these bars are high in strength and tough enough to attain all types of pressure.
• Atmospheric Cooling: This is the last and final stage of product development, where the bars are laid on the cooling bed and allowed to cool down under normal temperature and environmental air. The austenitic core in case is converted into a ferrite-pearlite core that is highly ductile. The final structure is a mixture of ferrite-perlite ductile core and martensite that is tempered.
