Rubber Expander

The Expander Rollers we offer consist of bowed shafts, seaed ball bearings, abrasion resistant sleeve and metal segments. These are widely used as wrinkle remover devices in various industries and are available with us in various dimensions. Further, these are also supplied with gear box and mounting brackets which can either be Foot Mounted or Wall Mounted.

The performance of our Rubber Expander Roller (Bow Rollers) depends upon the following points:

• Wrap angle
• Lead-in & Lead-out distance
• Position of bow (Adjustable)

 

In this, 3 :1 (lead-in: lead-out) ratio is considered to be the perfect. The best results are attained when Bow Roller is perpendicular to the web direction.

Polyband Expander

For the varied requirements of rubber Industries, we offer a superior range of Polyband Expanders which are used when expander rollers are not appropriate. These expanders give great performance for separating the web after slitting inspite of of its thickness and are very helpful in processing HM and PP. The best results of these are obtained with wrap angle of 90 degree. One needs to stretch, adjust, touch-in and touch points according to the web material.

 

Main components of a Polyband Expander are:

• Aluminum pipe
• Highly elastic polymer cord
• Stretching assembly fixed on both ends.

 

 

The varied sizes are:

• 90 mm Dia & 140 mm Dia
• Length upto 2500 mm

When both the polyband and expander roller are not suitable, comes the need of Rubber Grooved Spreader Rollers. These have a distinct groove pattern on rubber surface and are capable of handling delicate films without any damage during the entire wrinkle removing process.

 

The rubber grooved rollers are very extensively used on Film Plants as a wrinkle remover, because these do not damage the film of any gauge due to resonance effect that delivers minimum stretch to the film and reduced contact area between film and the wrinkle remover.

 

Its types are:

·     Two or four starts scroll type RH & LH

·     Individual Groove Type RH & LH

 

The Aluminum Slat Expander Rolls offered by us are used for wrinkle removing on coating machines, which are available in different length and standard diameter as per the requirements of our clients. We generally offer plain surface, but as some applications requires serration on surface for gripping, so we also offer rough surface. Before offering our rolls, we take different specifications from user such as application temperature, web material, plain or serration required on surface, maximum speed of web material, to meet the requirements of our clients. Moreover, working rolls are also available with ball bearing type mechanism with norma expansion of 25mm.

We offer coating cloth coating machines, flat bed printing machine, shaped wrinkle-removing action and slat expander rolls in wooden slat with felt covering. Further, these also have aluminum slats available in different diamantes such as 6” 8” and 12”. Suitable for slow speed machines such as cloth coating machines, Flat Bed Printing machine, artificial leather cloth and batching machine. These rolls are fitted with cam mechanism with left and right slats from center. Additionally, longer width three slats are fitted and middle slats are fixed to avoid V shaped wrinkle-removing action. We also offer these rolls with foot mounting pedestals.

'ANAR' makes rubber expander rollers (Bow Rollers) having very   wide range of dimensions and suitable for equally wide range of   applications and web materials. These rubber expander rollers are   supplied with mounting brackets which could be either wall   mounting or foot mounting.

  The performance of rubber expander (Bow Rollers) depends   upon:

• Lead in-lead out distance
  
• Wrap angle
  
• Position of blow (adjustable)
  

  3:1 lead in lead out ratio is considered to be best. However, lead   out distance preferably should not to be more than 3 times of   expander roller diameter. The best results are achieved when bow   roller is perpendicular to the web direction.
