It is used in the manufacture of composition corks, rubberised cork and isolation in cold storage plants and friction material in brake shoes and moulded clutch plates for the automotive industry. Rubberised Cork made using high quality cork granules mixed with carefully selected rubber polymers such as as Neoprene, Nitrile ,Synthetic and Natural based on end use customer specifications. Rubber cork combines the resilience of rubber with the natural compressibility of cork and tough mechanical action of rubber. It can be easily bent in round shape corners without cracking. These are strong, flexible and easy to cut. It can be used for gaskets with narrow borders. High quality polymers and the best of cork and polymer technology makes it the ideal usage for high performance Transformer Gaskets and can operate under extreme temperature and liquid immersion conditions.
