Compact Fluorescent Lamp Machinery
We are among the leading names in the industry, engaged in the manufacturing, exporting and supplying of a diverse array of Compact Fluorescent Lamp machineer (CFL Machinery). Our range is widely demanded by our clients for their energy efficiency and durability. Moreover, these can be customized as per the specific requirements of our clients. Our gamut of Compact Fluorescent Lamp Machinery includes the following:

Cutting Machines
Cutting Machines

The cutting machines works on the principle of rotary disc mounted arrangement revolving around its axis with the help of sprockets fixed at drive ends and free wheeling ends. These multiple discs support the main glass tubing and because of the rotary motion of the disc it causes the tube to rotate. Each disc is provided with the slot cut at the periphery of the disc so that in one rotation the slots rotate and allow the tube to index.

The cutting machine is set in such a way such that the slots are aligned in a fashion that it acts as a transfer mechanism for the tube.

Initially all discs are aligned (all slots in one line) in such a fashion that it holds the glass tube which is approximately one meter in length. Then this tube is heated by cutting burners and cold water is struck on the heated portion so that crack is developed and the cutting takes place. The cut tubes are then carried forward so that the ends of the cut tubes are glazed and the tube is ready for further processing.

Bending Machines

The bending machines consists of a melting conveyor pre-fitted with a tube hopper and indexing drive mechanism mounted on a stationary platform to obtain indexing motion of the turret. The drive rotates the circular turret where bending heads are fitted and these heads subject the tube to various operations.

Mount Machines
Mount Machines

The mount machines works on the principle of rotary head indexing mechanism to convert lead wires, filament and bead glass into a single unit called mount. The mount serves as a igniting component to initiate the discharge of the low pressure arc discharge lamp used in the compact fluorescent lamp manufacturing.

The filament of the mount is loaded on with the carbonate paste, while the lamp is processed this carbonate paste decomposes into CaO+, BaO+ and SrO+ and carbon dioxide. The active metal components act as a source of electron emission which is required in the discharge process.

The chosen lead wires are such that the coefficient of expansion of these wires and the glass used match so that the seal between the glass and the metal is perfect and during the heating process cracks are not formed. It is important for these components to match their coefficient of linear expansion since lamp is finally a sealed tube at required pressure.

Sealing Machines

The sealing machines works on the principle of fixed head indexing mechanism mounted on a flat turret where different components of lamp are sealed together. It joins the cut exhaust tube along with main glass tube and mount. This is the first step of lamp making.

The pre cut lengths of exhaust tube are loaded in the exhaust tube hopper wherein every head is allowed to load single tube two positions, are used for loading mounts and then finally the glass tube is loaded on the sealing head.

The loaded components on the head goes through pre heating, melting and pinching operations and the molten exhaust tube and main glass tube joint is reblown to get the perfect seal. The tube is unloaded on an annealing conveyor where the sealed portion passes through the annealing oven.

This tube is discharged for further process to fusion / exhaust.

Fusion Machines
Fusion Machines

The fusion machines works on the principle of fixed head indexing mechanism driven through Indexing CAM and a driving gear box to convert the rotary motion of the motor into peripheral movement of the slide operating heads. It converts sealed tubes to be fused together into dual tube units.

The sealed tubes are loaded on the machine, aligned and centered, preheated to get into a final position wherein a bipartisan burner heats the loaded tube and allows the glass to be softened at the fusion point. As the sealed tube becomes soft at the fusion point air is blown through the tube causing a blow hole. This slide mechanism of the individual tube holding jaws brings in the tube together so that the fusion joint is formed.

One end of the fused tube is cleared of its blowing end i.e. the exhaust tube and the fused joint is annealed before dislodging itself from the head to carry out further operation.

Coating Machines

This coating machines are 24-feet long coating the formed U-shape glass tube before baking it. The coating unit comprises of 210 heads. Each head holds four-glass tube and is driven by a very accurate index cam. The tube is conveyed to its position for coating. The tube is loaded on the head before coating the tube it is then held in the stationary position and the fluorescent paste is filled in the tube by the jet.

This coating machines comprises the following mechanisms:
  • 220 head hot air generating mechanism
  • Florescent paste coating mechanism
  • Heated air blowing system
A water-based mixture is used to protect the environment.

Baking Machines

This 30-feet long baking machines characterized by its circular and horizontal design of airflow, is designed to eliminate all the compounds except the fluorescence in the glass tube by hot flowing air.

Electrically heated auto-controlled system is applied in this machine at the first stage while the tube being heated, there are also two head position blowing in oxygen, making it easy to eliminate all the impurities. At the last stage the tube is cooled off .
  • 220 head hot air generating mechanism
  • Electric Oven
  • Baking mechanism
  • Air blowing system
  • Oxygen blowing system

Exhaust Machines

The exhaust machines works on the principle of exhausting the lamp of impurities using a head consisting of vacuum proof mechanism fitted on a flat indexing turret connected to the battery of vacuum pumps through a center valve plate ( which allows the vacuum sealed in position using oil rings). The indexing allows the lamp to be heated , cleaned of impurities and finally filled with inert gas and the discharge medium

The lamp is loaded in the initial position and then at different positions the lamp is heated through the heat chamber , the emission gases being sucked out and then dosed with mercury and finally filled with the Argon or required mixture of Ar-Ne gas at the set pressure .

The fused / sealed lamp is initially loaded in the machine head and head lever is closed to allow vacuum in this system. To achieve a higher degree of vacuum the lamp is subjected to elevated temperature and the lamp is subjected to vacuuming process . At half way of the vacuum process the two ends of the cathode is subjected to electric supply making the cathode filaments red hot thus allowing decomposition of the triple carbonate layer on the filament. Once the decomposition is finished the lamp is flushed with inert gas and mercury is dozed inside the lamp automatically. The lamp is finally filled with inert gas at a stable pressure and the holding exhaust tube is melted allowing a seal in the capsule

This tube is discharged for further process to fusion / exhaust.

Aging Machines
Aging Machines

These aging machines ages the capsule after the exhaust process by introducing different voltages. Firstly the tungsten is pre heated and then lit by high voltage (the electrodes can be switched by usual lighting processing). The voltage is adjusted to be in a specified range. Pressing a selective switch on the control box does the adjustment.

This aging machines comprises of the following mechanism:
  • 60 sets of chuck.
  • Electric circuit controlling system
