Silica Gel Bags
|
We manufacture and export a broad gamut of silica gel bags, plastic packaging products and plastic mouldings, using excellent engineering techniques and expertise. Our products are of optimum quality and are widely appreciated and recognized with in the industry. We use high quality raw material in our production process. Hence, these silica gels are extremely efficient in protecting the bulk production of various industries. Our product range includes:
|
|
|
White Silica Gel Non Indicating
We supply silica gel non indicating, white silica gel non indicating for the industtiral prupose. Silica-Gel is pure silica in highly porous state with high absorption capacity due to large surface area of its particle & has the capacity to adsorb approximately 40% of its weight of moisture.
The colour appearance of this type of silica gel is white. The main property of this type is that it does not give any indication. The colour remains unchanged and, therefore, it is not easy to ascertain after visualizing whether the absorption capacity of Silica Gel is completed or not.
|
|
|
Blue Silica Gel Indicating
It is produced by impregnating white Silica Gel with cobalt chloride due to which the colour appearance of Silica Gel is Blue which changes to Pink / White after the moisture is absorbed. It is very easy to ascertain after visualizing whether the moisture absorption capacity is completed or not.
Note : It is slightly expensive as compared to non-indicative type. The indicative Silica Gel cannot be used as a moisture detector in the drying of gases containing Ammonia.

Activated Carbon
Activated carbon bags are used basically in plastic and thermo ware industry as it keep the product moisture and oduor free. We supply bags of activated carbon as per ISO 887 : 1989.

Plastic Moulding Product
We offer plastic moulding facility to our customers such as openers, washers, stoppers etc. We undertake the injection processes such as jetting, gloss and brushing while plastic mouldings, to cater to the needs of several companies.
We also cater to the packing needs of various industries. We insure safe and secure packing of the products manufactured by industries to be stored for a long time or to be exported to some other countries. We have a skilled set of workers who are experts in the packing work. We have a full fledged team of experts for the packaging of plastic products.
Our team undertakes following processes:
Single, two, three and four color printing on rolls ( Roto gravion)
Slitting ( Roll to Roll)
Pouch making ( solid and liquid packing in form, fill and seal machine)

Why to use silica gel Sachets ?
The aim of using silica gel sachets is to minimize the risk of irreversible damage to item in transit or store caused by condensation vapour by absorbing the water molecules, a silica gel sachet will reduce the relative humidity inside a packet to level at which condensation will not occur.
Three moisture sources has to be considered:
1. From air contained inside the package.
2. That from the packing inside the package. (e.g. for cushioning purposes)
3. That which diffuses through the outer packaging during storage or transit.

|
Why Items are at risk
Condensation of the water vapour will not occur, even when the relative humidity approaches 100% providing the air temperature remains constant. So the risk of condensation (and therefore corrosion) arise mainly because of large drops in the air temperature, where at new lower temperature, the volume of water vapour is too much for the air to hold.
Special attention needs to place where a) Variation between daytime and night-time reaches 20ºC to 30ºC. b) Seasonal temperature variations are large. c) Temperature variation occur due to the intermittent functioning of encased apparatus such as electrical conductors and resistors, fuses, circuit breakers or relay motors, which release calories when in use. The greatest risk of condensation is in high humidity environment, where a drop of just 5o C will on average cause water vapour to condense. As a general rule it is enough to maintain relative humidity of enclosed air below 30% to avoid risk of condensation.

Why to use silica gel in containers ?
Significant temperature variations - i.e. crossing the equator and day-night temperature fluctuations. When container temperature rises, air expands and absorbs free moisture molecules from all possible sources i.e. container floor, wooden pallets and wooden dunnage. When the container temperature drops, the air contracts and deposits the heavier water molecules, known as condensation. This process of warming and cooling can repeat itself several times during a voyage which causes this damaging condensation cycle. The only remedy for such problem is to use container dessicants.

Some questions to be answered ?
1) How can silica gel work inside a sachet ? Answer : The material used for silica gel bags are specially chosen to be breathable, water vapor passes through them to be absorbed by silica gel. 2) Why are different size of silica gel bags are used ? Answer :The larger the item to be protected, the silica gel is needed. A range of sachet allows for a single sachet to be used in most cases.
