Safety Net

The fundamental principle governing the design and performance of KARAM Safety Nets are as follows-

• Made from high strength Polypropylene Ropes which are able to withstand the required load.
• Special Knotting of the meshes work towards effective Shock Absorption, hence minimizing any impact related injury on to the worker.

KARAM Fall Arrest Safety Nets are available in various sizes, as required. Some of the standard sizes are available as below-

Polypropylene Rope Ladder

• Rungs Dia - 25 mm
• Rope Dia - 12 mm
• The top end is spliced with a thimble.
• The splicing is covered with Transparent Sleeve resistant to UV degradation and attached with Screw Locking Steel Alloy Hook PN 101
• Width of the rungs between both the ropes is 450 mm
• Interval between both the rungs is 300 mm

Tripod

General Features

• Adjustable height 1.25 m to 2.25 m from ground level.
• Adjustment achieved by sliding Aluminium telescopic legs (Inner & outer).
• Outer 44mm x 44mm (wall thickness 2.4mm) Inner 37.5mm x 37.5mm (wall thickness 3.0mm). Maximum dia when fully opened up is 1.5 mtr.
• Securely connected two Aluminium Alloy eye bolts for overhead anchorage, with strength greater than 10 kN •  Weight - 13 Kg.
• Every Tripod is also provided with inbuilt fixture for attaching KARAM Winch PN 801 (Can be supplied without this fixture on special request).
• Also available on request- Tripod with maximum height of upto 3.65 m.
• Compliance EN 795 CLASS B

Winch

General Features

• Equipped with Advanced Dual Load Advantage (DLA) Gear System within to give an effortless use of the Winch.
• Incorporated with bolting fixture for robust fitting on the Tripod
• Having lifting load capacity of 125 kgs.
• Provided with Galvanized Steel Cable of 5.0mm dia & length 20m.
• Equipped with Steel Screw Locking Karabiner (PN 112) as Connector on the termination end.
• Conforms to EN 1496: 2006 (Class A)
• To be used with a Retractable Fall Arrester when deployed for raising or lowering a person.

KARAM Cantilever K-Pod

General Features

• KARAM introduces the new K-Pod which provides a safe and sure system for easy access to confined spaces. The K-Pod is an ideal choice to provide overhead anchorage which can be mounted on different bases and it conforms to EN 795 Class B.
• The K-Pod is made of highly corrosion resistant stainless steel, and can swivel a complete 360 degrees on its mounted base, hence providing a versatile reach and access.
• The unique feature is that the height of the Cantilever arm of the K-Pod is adjustable at 3 defined points, with upper height adjustment of 2.3m, middle arm adjustment of 1.9m, and lowered arm adjustment at 1.5m. This enables the use of the K-Pod even in those areas where the roof height is small.
• The K-Pod can be easily mounted on the floor as well as on the wall through special floor and wall mounting brackets which are made available as per need. The K-Pod can also be mounted on the floor of heavy vehicles, hence making it extremely versatile in use.
• KARAM Winch PN 801 can also be easily mounted on to the K-Pod with the help of stainless steel.

Temporary & Permanent Horizontal Anchorage Line Systems

Temporary Horizontal Line

• KARAM introduces the HORIZON range of Horizontal Anchorage Lifeline, to provide a suitable and safe anchorage extending horizontally along a length.
• The Horizon- PN 3000 is a Horizontal Anchorage Life Line made up of 30 mm Polyester Webbing equipped with the KARAM Ratchet Tensioner that allows easy tensioning of the lifeline between two supports. Both the ends are provided with Auto Locking Steel Karabiners(Our Ref PN 113)
• The whole system is supplied in a bag , which is permanently attached to the assembly and also enables the user to easily carry the system with the help of the comfortable shoulder hanging straps provided in the bag.
• Once fitted, you can easily put back the extra webbing not deployed along the length, into the Bag
• Complies to EN 795 Class B
• Available Length- Total 20m, thus the user can use it for a length ranging from 5m to 20m
• Tasted & Certified for use by Two Users simultaneously.
• Once the Lifeline is fitted, the user can easily attach the Lanyard of his Harness to the Lifeline using a Karabiner or the anchorage of Self retractable lanyard-PN 2002. This allows movement along the length while keeping the user secured and safe at all times.
