Completely built in white marble and red sandstone, the amber fort amazes one and all with its stunning beauty. Maotha Lake makes its foreground, making the place even more illusionary when the crystal mirror image of the Fort floats on the still waters of the lake. Ascend on Elephant back to the hill, on which the fort is situated.

 

Afternoon – Visit to Maharaja's City Palace and the Observatory. Sightseeing Hawa Mahal or the Palace of Winds and the rose-pink residential and business areas of Jaipur.

Travel to Kumbhalgarh enroute visiting Jain temples at Ranakpur built in the 15th century, situated in the picturesque valley of the Aravali. Ranakpur has grand structures and beautiful sculpture. There are 1444 pillars in a temple and none of them are similar. The magic of light and shade is really magical. An enormous arched doorway leads to the Joramal Temple. The royal chapel is Har Mandir where royal weddings and births were once celebrated.
