Established in year 2000, Aparajitha’s operations started with 11 people focusing on HR Labour Compliance arena which often falls into the ‘important but not urgent’ category in the list of priorities. We started with flexi staffing services to clients within Tamil Nadu state and subsequently grew PAN India with a spectrum of service offerings.
Aparajitha is continuously evolving with time, focus areas and client services. And today in 2012 is serving 300 + clients across states (PAN India) with a workforce of 800+ people. As we serve our clients with consistent commitment, most of our clientele is on a long term association. Throughout our history, progress has largely been based on the diffusion of good or “good enough” ideas accompanied with innovations. Mr. Bharath Krishna Sankar is the Chairman and Managing Director of Aparajitha Corporate Services (P) Ltd, a HR compliance services firm based out of Madurai with offices all across India.
Bharath is an industry veteran in the fields of human resource development, financial management and facilitation of change management through organizational development interventions. While practicing as a management consultant, he realized the emerging importance of labour related compliance and the criticality of the varied issues that are faced by businesses with relation to this domain. Thus was formed Aparajitha. Started about ten years back, Aparajitha group has grown from just 10 people and a turnover of about 20 lakhs to a group of 450 people with a turnover of over 129 crores for year ending March 2010. Aparajitha is the only organised company in India to take up ‘personnel related compliances management services’ and ‘contract labour regulation services’. The operations are spread all over India covering about 1200 locations, with resident representatives in all the States and UTs and 18 branch offices across India. Nokia, Google, MRF, APC, ITC group, Unilever, L&T, Reliance, Tata VSNL, Birla Sun life, Bajaj Allianz, Oracle, NIIT, LMW, the TVS group, CUMI are among the prominent customers of Aparajitha.
He is an exceptional coach and mentor, with passion for developing and nourishing the entrepreneurial spirit in youngsters. His insight into individual development and progress of the community, led him to build Aparajitha Foundations, a trust promoted by the group. The Foundation runs a program ‘Thalir Thiran Thittam’ with a vision of creating a transformational change through awareness at the school level by giving the adolescent students an exposure to skills which are extremely important in life, but not covered by the regular curriculum. 4329 Government schools in Tamil Nadu are being covered under this project.
Bharath is a postgraduate in Commerce, a national gold medalist (topper in both Inter and Final) in Chartered Accountancy and an Associate of the Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India. He teaches at the Great Lakes Institute of Management, Chennai. He was a finalist of the Emerging Entrepreneur Award of CII, Tamil Nadu in 2010. He is the Immediate Past Chairman of CII, Madurai Zone.
He has evolved over the years consciously learning to accept uncertainties, imperfections and not be judgmental. He also believes in role modeling the positives in every individual.
