 | | Products Based on our outstanding performance over the years, we have achieved a reputable position in the industry. Our profound technical knowledge and world class fabrication facilities enable us to provide a wide array of testing instruments and equipment that can check textile, fabrics, yarns and rubber on different parameters. Reckoned for their accurate and rapid test results, we are capable of providing standard as well as customized range of products.
Our comprehensive range includes: |
De - Mattia Flex Tester We provide flex tester that is widely used in the rubber
industry. Rubber needs to be checked if it can withstand continuous flexing
without developing cracks, especially for products that are subjected to
repeated flexing. For this the process of flexing is faked in the laboratory
under standard conditions in terms of speed, mode, and degree of flexing, with
the help of our De - Mattia Flex Tester. Our range of “HIROSHIMA”
De-Mattia Flex Tester comprise of a set of grips that can easily hold the test specimens
in two tiers. One end of the test specimens is held in a fixed grip and the
other end in a reciprocating grip in order to reciprocate the flexing and
unflexing actions. It is provided with two fixed grips and one large
reciprocating grip that are placed between them so that half of the test
specimens is flexed and the other half is unflexed at the same time. An
eccentric and linkage mechanism driven by an electric motor through V-belt and
pulleys is used to generate reciprocating motion. The counter indicates the
number of test cycles completed. We also provide Molding dies, jig and punch
assembly and other accessories.

DIN Abrasion Tester We provide a huge assortment of
abrasion tester that is in compliance with DIN 53516, and ASTM D 5963. This
instrument is very useful in determining the resistance of elastomers with respect to the
loss of abrasion. This instrument can conduct abrasion tests of material prone
to wear and tear during their functioning such as tires, conveyor and drive
belts, shoe soles and others. These products are checked as per the DIN 53543
standard. In this test the abrasion is determined regarding the volumetric loss
of a cylindrical sample, which is
subjected to movement along an abrasion sheet under set pressure, distance and
a constant speed. This tester can conduct comparative measurements on plastics,
chalk, painted surfaces and other similar material.

Hardness Tester / Durometer with Stand Our range of hardness testers
conducts tests as per the IS 7888 – 1976 that is concerned with methods of
tests for Flexible polyurethane Foam. To check the indentation hardness of the
foam blocks, they are subjected to pressing by a circular indentor at a
particular speed. Then the force that is required to press to a specified
percentage of initial thickness is determined. The
load stand is made of premium quality cast aluminium and consist od numerous
holes to ensure quick escape of air during compression. For perfect and
corrosion resistant finish, the stand is coated with dark enamel painting and
bright zinc or chrome plating. Technical Data

Light Fastness Tester Our range of Hiroshima
light fastness tester conforms to the Australian AS 2001.4.2 standard
and is appropriate for determining the colour fastness of the fabric
to light. This is done with the help of a 500 W Mercury Ballast
Tungsten Filament Lamp and internally phosphor coated. This light
fastness tester can be used for all types of textile textile with the
exception of photochromatic coloured textiles. To test the fabric or
textile the sample along with blue wool standards is bared in the
light coming from a MBTL fading Lamp. The fastness of the sample is
compared with that of 1 – 8 Blue Wool
Standards. Construction: The main part of the
equipment is a metal based hollow cylinder having an internal
diameter of 18” and length of 18” and is opened at both ends. To
ensure that the light is distributed constantly around the
circumference, the 500 W MBTL fading lamp is mounted in the centre.
At the base an hour meter with buzzer and hour totalizer are fitted. Moreover to regulate the
temperature as it can rise up to 800 C, arrangement for continuous
cooling is done along with water flow that is supplied via a
horizontal pump and water tank. The light fastness tester
tests the fabrics on the following standards:
- 1 to 8 Blue Wool
Light Fastness as per ISO Standard
- Grey Scale of Change
in Colour according to ISO Standard

Martindale Abrasion Tester The Martindale Abrasion
Tester fabricated by us is perfect for determining of resistance of
any fabric to abrasion. This is done by abrading the fabric under
particular conditions against a standard abradant. For this both the
abrading surfaces are kept parallel to each other during the
operation. It provides a regulated abrasion between the fabric
surfaces in a constantly changing direction and at low pressure. For
abrading the circular specimen of fabric, it is kept in a known
pressure under two simple harmonic motions that are right angle to
each other. To inspect the fabric’s resistance to abrasion its
visual appearance or loss in mass of the
specimens is checked out. Construction: The tester consists of a
plate that is set into motion by combining two harmonic motions at
right angle by three rotations eccentric pegs. It has a specimen and
abradant holder to mount and abrade the specimen respectively. The
nylon discs supports the plate and its slots locates the eccentric
pegs in. An electric motor, worm reduction gear box, sprockets and
chain arrangements are provided to rotate the pegs, thereby causing
the movement of plates in SHM. When the plate moves, it
causes the specimen holders to move with the plate in order to abrade
the specimen that is mounted on the metallic discs against the other
sample fixed below the specimen holder. Dead weights can be added or
removed from the specimen holder in order to alter the force on the
test sample. Its counter counts the number of rotation of outer pegs
and stops the motor after completion of the pre-set rotation numbers
automatically. Technical Data:

Package Hardness Tester The package hardness tester is
perfect for evaluating the hardness for yarn bobbins, warp beams and allied
products. Its ball shaped indentation body eliminates the chances of any kind
of damage to bobbins and warp beams. The winding hardness is proportional to
the distance covered by the indentation ball, which is transmit by means of a
movement (r=55 mm). Its operation depends on the material to be tested and a
flat working face is recommended for bobbins with a diameter of more then 400mm.
Our clients can avail the package hardness tester with different indentation
balls of 2.5 Ø mm, 5 Ø mm or 10 Ø mm.

Specific Gravity Balance To check the specific gravity of rubber
and other elastomers, we offer technically advanced “HIROSHIMA”
Specific Gravity Balance. Its faster
and accurate readings can give results in about half a minute. It is provided with an anodized scale with a
balancing arm at center that stands vertical on the base plate and is printed
with specific gravity (SG). To reduce friction, the scale is supported with two
jewel bearings. The short length of the
yarn is attached to one pin of the arm and the long length of the yarn is
attached to another. To immerse the second pin in water a tall transparent jar
is used. The pointer that is attached to the other end of the arm indicates the
specific gravity of the concerned sample. The tester is also provided with a
sliding weight for balancing different weights of sample in initial stages. The
specific gravity tester is available in different modals.

Sublimation Tester We offer precision engineered Hiroshima
sublimation tester that is widely used in the textile industry to determine the
resistance of the colors of the textile. It can efficiently test on all types
of color change, and color transfer by performing hot pressing. The hot
pressing can be utilized for tests on dry, damp and wet fabrics, depending on
the application of the concerned textile. Method: DRY Pressing: For this a certain
temperature, weight and time is set on the heating device in order to press the
dry sample. DAMP Pressing & WET Pressing: In both damp and wet type of pressing a wet, undyed cotton cloth is used to
cover the dry sample before pressing it at a specific temperature, time and
weight. Our range of sublimation tester
consist of regulated set ups of dry heat and pressure of 8.8 gm/cm2 or 9.0
gm/cm2 or 40 gm/cm2 with top and bottom heated surfaces . It has a separate temperature regulator and individually
regulated top plate weights. Specific Details:
