Excessive stress lead to bending open or breakage of the needle hook. The result higher needle requirement, machine downtime and poor fabric quality.
Hook is made to withstand for higher tensile stress before reaching bending or breaking point which allowing trouble-free knitting on high speed machines, results are fewer bent or broken needle and a reduced needle requirement.
Fabric quality improves as the yarn filaments are protected by the polish & smoothness of the needle. The quality of the material does not allow the deformation of hook, resulting in smooth and uniform knitting for a longer period and extra service life of the needle.
