These pipes have longitudinal ribs and transverse slots. The ribs keep granulated soil away from the slots, and increase the permeability rating to more than double when compared to plain screen pipes.

Design

Specification followed : IS 12818:1995.
Surface finish of this pipe is extremely smooth, ehich reduces hydraulic friction.
Internal and external threading and bell-spigot ends ensure easy and reliable joining.
Ribbed screen pipes are used especially when the outer surface area of abore-well casing pipe is to be increased. the ribs provide around 25% additional surface area by virtue of their design. Besides that, it holds gravel balls away from the pipe, at a distance of about 2mm. This arrangement cleans slits naturally due to vertical flow passage. and allows more water to seep in, resulting in higher yield than other plain screen pipes with the same bore.

introduction exhaust pipe is a general term for several different pipes used throughout the exhaust system. although configurations vary with different makes, models and engines, there is usually a front exhaust pipe connecting the exhaust manifold to the catalytic converter, an intermediate exhaust pipe connecting the catalytic converter to the muffler, and a tailpipe connected to the outlet of the muffler and serving as the exhaust outlet. Exhaust pipes route exhaust gas away from the engine, through the catalytic converter and muffler and out the rear of the vehicle. As a result, pollution and sound are reduced, while ensuring safety by directing exhaust gas away from the vehicle.

Apollo Pipes Ltd., have introduced Pipes and Hollow Sections in Pre-galvanised quality in size range from ½' to 4' in thickness .8 to 1.60 mm. These materials are replacing the Bus Body, Railway Boogies conventional pipes of heavy weight and also being used by telephone department as a Conduit Pipes. This quality has a long life span because of the better raw material and also Galvanised, which protects the pipe from getting corded.

apl apollo rectangular & square hollow sections are manufactured at the standard tube plant in the high frequency induction welding (hfiw) mills. The mill has been designed on technology provided by kusakabe of japan, who are the world leaders in welded tube technology. The mill has installed capacity of 80000 tonnes per annum and can make circular as well as hollow sections.

presently apl apollo rectangular & square steel hollow section can be supplied to is:4923 up to maximum 180 x 180 x 5. 4mm for square and 200 x 100 x 540 mm for rectangular. We are going with our expansion plan and shall be able to provide a size range up to 250 x 250 mm squares and 300 x 200 mm in rectangular and square sections respectively. Thickness will vary between 1. 60 mm to 10 mm.
