apple was established in 1994 by Mr. Jaydeo Chokhawala, Apple backbone and a first generation entrepreneur of 21st Century.
Initially, Apple began as a bakery engineering consultancy firm and played a major role in planning & executing the New Monginis Bakery at Andheri. Today Monginis is the largest chain of bakeries in India.
With over 14 years of hands-on experience in process industry including that of Buhler flour Mills- Switzerland, Apple changed its perception with a view to provide innovative Technology, bakery designs for better economies of scale with cost effective, best quality imported bakery machineries, accessories and services to the bakery sector.
SHOPRITE, one of the largest Chain of Hypermarkets from South Africa, in their 1st venture in India set up their 70,000 sq feet hypermarket at Mulund in Mumbai. It has a LIVE in-store bakery of about 2000 sq feet providing fresh ready to eat baked products and confectionaries. Macadams, a global bakery machinery manufacturer & Apple have designed and executed the said project jointly. This was a trend setter of LIVE IN-STORE bakery concept in India's Retail Chains.
Live in- store bakery concept as a marketing strategy and value addition has now become a mandate for new projects of retail chains. Apple, going a step ahead, is now promoting live bakeries even for small bakery shops in various towns all over the country.
Apple is a pioneer in this field with its vast experience and has tied up with large manufactures to establish continuous production lines for muffins, cookies, filled products, layer cakes, mini swiss rolls, puff pastry, buns, breads etc.
