The Avocent Emerge DA1200D DVI-D distribution amplifier with HDCP is a compact, high performance product designed to meet the most demanding requirements for the distribution of DVI signals with HDCP copy protection. The DA1200D distribution amplifier provides transparent distribution of a DVI-D signal to two destinations. The unit has DVI-I connectors for the input and outputs for compatibility with all DVI cables. The DA1200D distribution amplifier may be cascaded to deliver DVI with HDCP signals over greater distances from the source using premium grade DVI cable. DDC support offers plug-and-play operation.

The Avocent Emerge DA1200P PC/VGA distribution amplifier provides two outputs for use in any application requiring multiple outputs from a single PC or other VGA video source. The video bandwidth in excess of 500 MHz handles computer resolutions up to 2560 x 1600 at distances up to 300 feet from the source without signal deterioration. The DA1200P distribution amplifier provides VESA industry standard DDC (Data Display Channel) bidirectional communications for plug-and-play operation of attached display devices. The small and rugged design is ideal for applications that have space limitations. The DA1200P distribution amplifier is 5VDC powered, and includes a high performance 1m VGA input cable and power adapter.

The Avocent Emerge VSM2000 multi-function video scaler provides high scaling to analog or DVI computer or HDTV signals. NTSC and PAL video standards are supported. Video inputs are 2x composite, 2x s-video and 1x YUV component or YPbPr. RGB/YPbPr scaling permits the computer input signals to be scaled with the same flexibility as the video inputs. The output is selectable as any computer resolution up to 2048 x 2048 at any vertical refresh rate and all HDTV resolutions up to 1080p. A wide variety of computer signal formats are available to support PC, Mac and workstation formats.

All the functions can be controlled via front panel push buttons, an infrared controller or via an RS-232 or IP connection. A Windows control panel is provided for GUI-based control. Most third party control systems interface directly with the VSM2000 video scaler via serial or RS-232 interfaces. A front panel LCD makes setup easy.

Variable zoom to 10X allows you to enlarge any part of the video image to fill the entire computer screen and panning controls allow you to move around to any area desired. Variable shrink to as little as 10% allows fitting the image onto most displays. The advanced digital flicker elimination circuitry and high sampling rate insures crisp, clear images, while full bandwidth chroma sampling insures faithfully reproduced, high resolution colors.

Stereo audio switching is provided by an integral 4 x 1 audio routing switcher. The four impedance-independent unbalanced inputs follow the video input selection. A rear panel terminal block provides access.

The Avocent Emerge VSS1000H HDMI video scaler is a high bandwidth, professional quality product that accepts HDMI signals, DVI signals (via DVI to HDMI cable), PC generated RGB signals (up to WUXGA), HD component signals (YPbPr/YCbCr, 480i up to 1080p), s-video and composite video signals as valid inputs. It scales these signals to provide a fully compliant HDMI output with up to 1080p resolution. The scaling engine processes the selected input signal and delivers an HDMI output that is compliant with version 1.2 protocols. An integrated HDMI/DVI/HDCP receiver is central to the processor along with 3-D motion adaptive deinterlacers. With 3:2 pull-down, 2:2 pull-down detection and recovery; and 3-D noise reduction these features complete the superior video signal processing capability. Audio inputs are provided for all sources and follow the video input selected. The HDMI output had embedded audio. An additional SPDIF audio output is provided for ease of connection to existing audio systems. Both digital and analog audio processing is supported and audio delays of up to 150ms can be introduced to insure lip sync. The VSS1000H may be operated from the front panel buttons or via the supplied infrared remote control. An On Screen Display (OSD) makes operation of the scaler fast and simple.
