The material is sourced from various parts of south India such as. Nagapatinnam, Rameshwaram, Tuticorn, Tuttur, Kanyakumari, Trivandrum, Cochin, Kollam, Cuddalore, Ennore, Kovalam, Kasimedu and also from Andaman & Nicobar Islands. A typical day at Aqua World starts when the perishable goods arrive from the above mentioned places by rail, road and air to the processing plant located at new India maritime agencies 85/101, G.A. RD. ROYAPURAM, Chennai At about 8 AM in the morning the fishes are unloaded from the vehicles weighed and packed with ice in fresh thermocol boxes to be loaded onto a vehicle and transported to the airport then airlifted to the particular destination by the earliest flight. The buyer receives the goods at the concerned destination and sells it in the local market, auctions it or sells it to the restaurants depending on the buyer. |
