Quality Policy / ProcessesAquapharm Chemicals is a quality conscious supplier of phosphonates, polymers and biocides. Our plants at Mahad and Pirangut are ISO 14000 and ISO 9001:2000 certified.
Recently Aquapharm has received NSF certification (Standard 60 - Drinking water chemicals - Health Effects) for 3 of our products viz, Aquacid 105 NS (HEDP), Aquacid 106 NS (DETMP) and Aquacid 108 NS (ATMP).
Recognising the need for continuous development, Aquapharm has set up a dedicated Research and Development and Technical Applications Centre equipped with state of the art instruments. A dedicated team led by Phd's work on improving existing products and adding new products and applications to our ever expanding portfolio.
The Quality Control laboratories at our plants ensure that our customers receive the best quality products with adequate quality checks at all stages of manufacture.
InfrastructureThe new facility at Mahad is a 100 percent Export Oriented Unit. This facility is backward integrated and is setup to produce Phosphorus trichloride and a wide range of phosphonates and their salts including powders. This State of the art facility is fully automated and is run on the Delta V - DCS control system, thus ensuring consistent quality. Located in an Industrial zone with common effluent treatment plant ensuring that any effluent that leaves our site is fully treated and meets the effluent control requirements of all local bodies. The production capacity of phosphonates at Mahad makes it one of the largest plant of its type in the world. This plant is located around 150 kms. from India's leading Ports, Mumbai and Nhava-sheva.
