Each aquarium is crafted with safe 6mm thick glass. The depth of the aquarium from the wall to the face of the frame is only about 4.5". It appears to be a stunning painting or elegantly mounted LCD/Plasma TV, yet it's actually a real fish tank deep enough for your fish to swim and play in. You can make this into a saltwater or freshwater aquarium, but it's easiest to maintain with freshwater. It is similar to hanging a shelf by screwing brackets into your wall's studs. Maintenance is much easier than with regular larger fish tanks. They are so easy to maintain that a monthly procedure that takes only 15-20 minutes should keep your aquarium looking like new!
